FIX YOUR THOUGHT ON WHAT IS TRUE AND GOOD

Philippians 4:4-8 (TLB).

[4]Always be full of joy in the Lord; I say it again, rejoice!
[5]Let everyone see that you are unselfish and considerate in all you do. Remember that the Lord is coming soon.
[6]Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything; tell God your needs, and don’t forget to thank him for his answers.
[7]If you do this, you will experience God’s peace, which is far more wonderful than the human mind can understand. His peace will keep your thoughts and your hearts quiet and at rest as you trust in Christ Jesus.
[8]And now, brothers, as I close this letter, let me say this one more thing: Fix your thoughts on what is true and good and right. Think about things that are pure and lovely, and dwell on the fine, good things in others. Think about all you can praise God for and be glad about.

The power of thought is very wonderful, it has a pulling force that attracts things into reality. As a man thinks so he is. It is in the mind all decisions are made before it begin to manifest in the physical being. Becareful of what you feed your mind with for therein lies the issues of life.

It is in your thought life what you fill your mind with determine what goes around you. That\’s why the Bible says that we should Think About the things that are Good and Worthy of praise. Think About the things that are True and Honourable and Right and pure and Beautiful and Respected.

To fix your mind on the above mentioned means to have an absolute peace nothing will add unnecessary stress, you will actually be at peace even with your enemies. By so doing you find your self being considerate, fair minded and charitable when dealing with those who are not your brethren.

Just imagine yourself being free from worrying about anything according to the advice of Apostle Paul to the Philippines. Do you think it seems like an impossiblity. Yes we all have to worry about some uncertainty in our every day challenges, what it really means here is tune your mind rightly to those things that are worthy of praise and begin to praise God and pray to God, This will help to ward off worries.

Out of the abundance of the mind the mouth speaks. What we put into our mind determins what comes out in our actions. Paul tells us to program our mind with thoughts that are True, Honourable, Right, Pour, Lovely, Admirable, Excellent, and Worthy of Praise.

Do you have problems with your thought mechanism, or you frequently daydream? Examine your thought process be honest to yourself know what you are putting in your mind through the things you watch, read or even some social media, your conversation base, the kind of movies you feed your eyes with please you can replace such harmful inputs with wholesome things. Rejoice in good doings always and feed yourself with the words of God to help your soul grow into maturity. SHALOM!!. ✍️ BlessingOnugha ❤️.
