POWER OF DESTINY HELPER.

1 Chronicles 12:21-23.

1Chr.12.21 – And they helped David against the band of the rovers: for they were all mighty men of valour, and were captains in the host.
1Chr.12.22 – For at that time day by day there came to David to help him, until it was a great host, like the host of God.
1Chr.12.23 – And these are the numbers of the bands that were ready armed to the war, and came to David to Hebron, to turn the kingdom of Saul to him, according to the word of the LORD.

I once went to a house fellowship conducted in the house of his Excellency, distinguished senator Owelle Rochas Okorocha , the Senator representing Imo west (Orlu) Senetorial zone Nigerian Senate .

on that particular Sunday in his family house fellowship which has become a tradition of a sort in his family over 2 decades now that it has expounded to admitting people outside his immediate family across boundaries to as many people that are interested in hearing and sharing in the word of God.

That particular Sunday wasn’t my very first attendants, my first visit was very encouraging and the topic was extensively discoursed, the topic was on forgiveness and the preacher did justice to the topic that day people including myself were guilty and sorry for holding back grudges against those who offended us because we learnt that forgiveness benefits the person who is bold enough to forgive and let go his anger than the person forgiven i. This triggered my interest and I actually was looking forward to attending the house fellowship any Sunday I am opportune to be around Abuja.

I think 3rd Sunday in august I was blessed to visit the family and was happy to be in their fellowship, very excited to be part of the nourishment that comes from the word of God. Pastors and well known Bishop were all in attendant adding colour and brilliance into the days business which was discussion on DESTINY HELPER!!

The Bible reading was taken from 1 chronicles 12:21-23.

The verses talked about people that drew closer to David due to his reputation as a great warrior to fight a good cause for Israelites and help to get victories for his people they also supported David to accomplished his being a king according to God’s promised.

He went ahead to explain that destiny helper may be somebody who recommends you for a position or for promotion in your career in life. He cited 1 Samuel 16:17-21 when the evil spirit tormented Saul and he was recommended to get somebody who was skillful in playing the flute to help him ease his distress and one of his servant recommended David the son of Jesse as a man who will fit in such job.

We all need a helper in one way or the other to help us accomplish our set goal and those people you meet in life that perhaps most have touched your life are destiny helpers. When a man’s way is pleasing before god , He makes his enemies to be at peace with him. At the end of the pastor’s preaching the floor was open for contributions

Some people were of the opinion that if destiny is inborn with us and it is expected to be part of what has been predestined to happen in our life time does any body need to help anyone get to his destiny? while others believed that whatever that has been destinyed might be motivated or thwart by somebody knowingly or unknowingly.

Thank God for well experienced pastors and the Bishop who was in our midst to take us down the memory lane of the scriptures to support that there are destiny helpers in our life who are there to help us accomplish our purpose in life.

The bishop in his explanations, said there are destiny helpers and we must pray to locate our destiny helpers, they may come in a way we least expected , you must not look down on any one no-matter how lowly place the person might be the one to help you fitful destiny. He cited example of how a Hebrew house girl brought to Syria, the captain of Syrian army Naaman’s house as a slave was able to recommend to her mistress that if her master Naaman will go to Israel to see a strong prophet Elisha, he will pray for his leprosy and he will be healed. 2king 5:1-9.

Our bishop also narrated the story of David in Ziklag how Ziklag was raided by the enemy force and was burnt down and loathed by the Amalekites but David and his soldiers in their confusion and destress had to pursue the enemies and do not know how exactly to locate their where about. On their way going they met an Egyptian slave who was abandon by his master due to his illness . David And his men treated him well and feed him before he disclosed the people that raided Ziklag and where they could be found.

When they got to the camp of their enemy they recovered all that had been stolen as such that Egyptian boy and the slave girl in Naaman’s house are destiny helpers.

In fact all the explanations and the Bible quotes made sense to me and I have been praying for God to help me locate my destiny helpers.

Today as I was readying my bible as my daily devotions, the book of Leviticus on account of Moses and the Children of Israe, I remembered DESTINY HELPER I paused . I asked my self was Moses a destiny helper to the Israelites. I decided to check the meaning of Destiny.

COLLINS DICTIONARY ;. COUNTABLE NOUN:. A person’s Destiny is everything that happens to them during their life, including what will happen in the future, especially when it is considered to be controlled by someone or something else.

*We are masters of our own destiny*

*it is my destiny one day to be a king*

UNCOUNTABLE NOUN:. Destiny is the force which some people believe controls the things that happens to you in life.

*Is it destiny that brings people together or is it accident?*

After reading the dictionary meaning, I began to search my Bible for other possible clue as to destiny helper then I agreed that destiny can be a force engineered or controlled by the circumstances that happens around us in our life time. There are things that happens around you and you cannot explain it to the understanding of men because it may look vague, unbelievable.

Perhaps you find yourself in a terrible trouble that within you it will be impossible to escape but somehow you regor out of the dungeon like it happened to me when I was arrested by uniform armed robbers honestly it was a horrifying experience.

So I believe is not only physical human beings can be said to be Destiny helpers. God can use anything including animals, objects including your enemy, even His Angelic forces as Angels On Assignment to be Destiny Helpers .

We have all heard amazing stories of angelic visitations to rescue God’s children at difficult times. Even in this time and age, angels are still sent on assignment to deliver and rescue God’s children. Angels of destiny delivered Daniel, when his adversaries threw him into the lion’s den. When he fasted for twenty-one days, an angel of destiny came as an emissary to deliver a message to Daniel. The Prince of Persia resisted the angel until another angel, Michael was sent to help the angel. (Daniel 10:1-21)

Peter was miraculously delivered from prison by an angel of destiny a night before Herod was to kill him. (Acts 12:5-17).

Angel Gabriel was sent to go and deliver a message to Mary about the baby child she was to bring forth was a destiny helper. (Luke 1:26-38)

The ravens, which momentarily fed Elijah, when there was famine in Israel, were destiny helpers sent to save the life of the prophet of God. When Elijah was running away from Jezebel, he became weary and worn out in the wilderness, wishing he had died. God sent an angel as a destiny helper, who baked a piece of cake and asked the prophet to eat because the journey was too far.(1 king 17:5-8).

Most times destinies are not fulfilled perhaps one may not have discovered his purpose in life and no forces to help in actualizing it, it remain dormant or one dies with it.
