Prayer is the key that unlocks every doors. It is truly a master key that\’s why Jesus start with prayers and ended with prayers.
A place of prayer is a place of encounter of Opportunities, it is a place of calling things being not into being. \”As it is written: “I have made you a father of many nations.” He is our father in the sight of God, in whom he believed—the God who gives life to the dead and calls into being things that were not\” (Romans 4:17) NIV.
The scripture mentioned calls into being things that were not. It is in place of prayer that you begin to call those things that seems impossible before man to be possible with God.
It is in the place of prayers you settle all your account before you go into the accounting proper. It is an opportunity to command your day ahead before you enter into the days activities, that was why Job asked us to command your day to take charge so that you can turn things around. “Have you commanded the morning since your days began, and caused the dawn to know its place\” (Job 38:12) ESV.
HOW DO WE PRAY.
The disciples of Jesus watched and observed that Jesus Christ prays always and also they observed that even the followers of John the Baptist prays and to them they considered it a thing to emulate they decided to come to Jesus to expressed their observations and see if such abilities could be transfered to them ….. \”And it came to pass, that, as he was praying in a certain place, when he ceased, one of his disciples said unto him, Lord, teach us to pray, as John also taught his disciples\” (Luke 11:1).
Luke 11:2-4 And he said unto them, When ye pray, say, Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth.
Give us day by day our daily bread.
And forgive us our sins; for we also forgive every one that is indebted to us. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil.
You see when you pray in the name of our Father in heaven in reverence and adoration He will cause His Will to prevail over your matter whatever the circumstances may be. Infact there are conditions prevalent to answer prayers when you pray, be sure you adhere to the rules of the game then you\’re a winner all the way
In Jeremiah 33:3 God told prophet Jeremiah \”Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not\”.
Prayer is an opportunity for God to unveil and reveal hidden things which you do not ever know they exist or perhaps you were aware of their existence as was foretold but not aware of how it looks like or have seen it before.
Prayers must be said in the name of Jesus Christ, \”And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son\”. (John 14:13
\”Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father\”. (Philippines 2,:9-11)
He is the Good Shepherd and we are His Sheep. God is everywhere you go there\’s no limit of His presence. We will follow Him to our churches , into the streets, into battles of life, We will welcome Him into our homes, our bedrooms, our cars. Any time we wish we can speak with our Lord and He offers us an ear to hear what we have to say.
Continue in prayer and watch same with Thanksgiving (Colossians 4:2). Lord, I do not need a phone to reach You, You are always there. I do not need an appointment, You are always there. Our Father in heaven, thank you, for answering our prayers for your light shines on us to drive away darkness, thanks for hearing us whenever we pray
\”Do not be anxious about anything but in every situation by Prayer and supplication with Thanksgiving present your request to God\” (Philippians 4:6-7).
