IS NOT AN EASY ROAD YET A SURE WINNING WAY WHEN ENCORAGED

Yeah my topic today might look somewhat dry and a little bit abstract while trying to connect the biblical connection of what can happen to someone or group of people when they are encouraged when faced with challenges or a very difficult situation. For instance in the book of Joshua 1:9  The Lord Him self called Joshua and said to him \”Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous !Do not be terrified or dismayed for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go\”.  If you read down through the book of Joshua you will notice how joushua was very exploitive for the Lord and performed wonderfully well for the children of Israel before and during the period they entered into the promised Land, he conquered nations and subdued their enemies.

Already in Deuteronomy 31:23 when it became apparent that Moses can no longer continue his journey with the people into the promised Land that was when God commissioned Joshua and said to him \”Be strong and courageous, for you will bring the sons of Israel into the land which I have sworn to give them and I will be with you\”

Apparently with such an assurance Joshua will be confident in the tasked he was called out to do knowing too well that He who called him is well able to  perfect it.  Have you been in anyway discouraged perhaps in any field may be not assigned to you by anybody or perhaps given to you but you already feel incompetent to do it due to  some reasons beyond your mention?  Come off it and be strong and courageous. Have you been rejected or been looked down upon and you find yourself hopeless due to the condition you found yourself look up to God like Esther did in the book of Esther 4:13-14 \”Then Mordecai told them to reply to Esther, “Do not imagine that you in the king’s palace can escape any more than all the Jews. For if you remain silent at this time, liberation and rescue will arise for the Jews from another place, and you and your father’s house will perish [since you did not help when you had the chance]. And who knows whether you have attained royalty for such a time as this [and for this very purpose]?”

May be you\’re affraid of discovering or conquaring more grounds because you considered your enemy(ies) more superior than you since you discovered or by your imagination think that they are more connected and better equipped to handle as such you go on complaining trip and refuse to do some thing to help yourself out of the quickmerir, honestly you\’re the one denaying your self of moving forward or expounding to a new growth like the tribe of Euphrim and manasiah who weren\’t able to drive away from the portion allotted to them the Canaanites when their population had increased and they needed to expound their territories but could not because they believed that the Canaanites were stronger and of a superior weapeans than them so they went complaining to Joshua. (Joshua 17:4-17)

And when they brought their complaints to Joshua he answered them thus \”But the mountain shall be thine; for it is a wood, and thou shalt cut it down: and the outgoings of it shall be thine: for thou shalt drive out the Canaanites, though they have iron chariots, and though they be strong\” (Joshua 17:18).
\”Whatever you do, you need courage. Whatever course you decide upon, there is always someone to tell you that you are wrong.( RALPH WALDO EMERSON ) There are always difficulties arising that can tempt you to believe your critics are right. To map out a course of action and follow it to an end requires some of the same courage that a soldier in war front needs. Success has its victories, but it takes brave men and women to win them. Be of good courage. Encouragement is an act of giving hope or support to someone and people should learn to encourage one another mostly if they are in a difficult position and this in return should be a catalyst or the undaunted audacity of adventuring into difficulties and undergoing hardships for a good cause .\” If you consider the case of the tribes  of Manasseh and Ephraim they received their inheritance in the land of Canaan; but they complained that the land was too small for them. haven  listed  many border towns in the space occupied by both tribes, it appeared every attempt they made to create more space was resisted by the strong Canaanite neighbours who had chariots of iron. When the Ephraimites complained about the straitness of their inheritance, Joshua encouraged them to boldly move against the Canaanites in battle in order to acquire more territories, He boosted their morale and encouraged them to see themselves as winners. Courage moves us beyond our limitations by taking us to a higher level. It allows us to grow by making us stretch beyond what we are now, serve God to the best of your ability and reach your potentials.  As a good Christian , you should not allow the enemy to make you feel as if he has won the battle already before it begins. We must understand that greater is He who is within us than he that is in the world. Those who put their trust in the Lord and believes in His promises are  Victorious. Refuse to accept defeat before the final whistle blows. So do not allow yourself to be put down or talked out of importance. No matter where you are in a ladder of life, always remember that God has not finished with you yet.You are God\’s man/woman passing through a process. The Best Is Yet To Come

May you be blessed as you read. Cheers  Blessing
