DO NOT BE DISMAYED.

ISAIAH 41:10.

Isaiah 41:10. \” FEAR NOT, FOR I AM WITH YOU BE NOT DISMAYED, FOR I AM YOUR GOD, I WILL STRENGTHEN YOU, YES I WILL HELP YOU, I WILL UPHOLD YOU WITH MY RIGHTEOUS RIGHT HAND\”.

The Dictionary meaning of Dismay according to Merriam Webster is Experiencing or showing feelings of alarmed concern or Dismay, upset , worried ,or agitated because of some unwelcome situation or occurrence.

You must not be dismayed or be perturbed when surrounded by giant-like situations and vicissitudes of life because there\’s nothing insurmountable when you put your trust in God for with God nothing is impossible. There\’s no mountain that is so high that God cannot make plain for your sake. No matter how great the giant may look whether a giant inform of challenges, afflictions or persecutions of any type or trials from every side of life, my God is saying to you out there do not be afraid.

Fear is a giant and a stumbling block, it empties one\’s strength and discourages one from making progress in life that is why you should arise in courage and confident to confront such giant by having faith in God.

God assured Joshua to be strong and of good courage when he was about to lead the Israelites to the promised Land after the death of Moses in the book of Joshua chapter 1 verse 6&7 \”……ONLY BE STRONG AND VERY COURAGEOUS,……\”. In verse 9 of this same chapter God still drums it again in his ear for emphases sake and reiterated it instructed Joshua why he should not be afraid to face the enormity of the job he was called to do so that he will not fail to accomplish success. \”HAVE I NOT COMMENDED YOU? DO NOT BE AFRAID, NOR BE DISMAYED FOR THE LORD YOUR GOD IS WITH YOU WHEREVER YOU GO\”. ( Joshua 1:9 ).

In the face of fear and discouragement, you need to prop up your faith so that you don\’t fall and you have to sustain it mostly by relaying in the word of God. \”THIS BOOK OF THE LAW SHALL NOT DEPART FROM YOUR MOUTH BUT YOU SHALL MEDITATE IN IT DAY AND NIGHT, THAT YOU MAY OBSERVE TO DO ACCORDING TO ALL THAT IS WRITTEN IN IT FOR THEN YOU WILL MAKE YOUR WAY PROSPEROUS AND THEN YOU WILL HAVE GOOD SUCCESS\”. (Joshua 1:8).

In other not to be dismayed in the time of trial you most be firm in your trust in the Lord without doubt. \”BUT THOSE WHO WAIT ON THE LORD SHALL RENEW THEIR STRENGTH, THEY SHALL MOUNT UP WITH WINGS LIKE EAGELS, THEY SHALL RUN AND NOT BE WEARY, THEY SHALL WALK AND NOT FAINT\” (Isaiah 40:31).
