Luke 4:1-14 (Living bible).
[1](1-2) Then Jesus, full of the Holy Spirit, left the Jordan River, being urged by the Spirit out into the barren wastelands of Judea, where Satan tempted him for forty days. He ate nothing all that time and was very hungry.
[3]Satan said, “If you are God’s Son, tell this stone to become a loaf of bread.”
[4]But Jesus replied, “It is written in the Scriptures, ‘Other things in life are much more important than bread!’”
[5]Then Satan took him up and revealed to him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time;
[6](6-7) and the devil told him, “I will give you all these splendid kingdoms and their glory—for they are mine to give to anyone I wish—if you will only get down on your knees and worship me.”
[8]Jesus replied, “We must worship God, and him alone. So it is written in the Scriptures.”
[9](9-11) Then Satan took him to Jerusalem to a high roof of the Temple and said, “If you are the Son of God, jump off! For the Scriptures say that God will send his angels to guard you and to keep you from crashing to the pavement below!”
[12]Jesus replied, “The Scriptures also say, ‘Do not put the Lord your God to a foolish test.’”
[13]When the devil had ended all the temptations, he left Jesus for a while and went away.
[14]Then Jesus returned to Galilee, full of the Holy Spirit’s power. Soon he became well known throughout all that region
This year has been tagged God Repositioning you to higher level of advancement in life. The Almighty God is moving about seeking for those who are prepared and willing to get to the point of advancement in life so that He may help them advance their cause.
The way you start your year may in a way help you determine the way it may likely end because the end of a matter is greater than the beginning thereof.
Today is the 6th of January 2020: I started the year fasting for some hours, this help to put me in a right track of starting with God and to have a reflecting moment and to plan for the year for it is better to go into the house of morning than the house of feasting; It helped me to reflect and reapraise myself and reconsider how I performed in the past, the resultant effects and why I should change my style to move forward.
For a long time now I stopped embarking on a new year Resolutions because I found out as the year progress I may forget rather what I do is the conscious effort to start with God to enlighten my spirit man and to give me utterances.
Beginning the year with a great expectations of winning over life\’s challenges this year is great but it\’s not the will to win that matters because everyone has that same will; what matters most is the will to prepare to win. You Must Prepare To Win!!!.
This year be determined that obstacles will not have to stop you in the cause of your moving forward. If you run into a hedge or into a ditch don\’t turn around and give up; figure out how to go through it and work your way out of it.
God is determined to move you from the point where you are now to Repositioning you to your next level of prominence. You have had a good year of great testimonies last year 2019 like me or a misfortune in 2019 full of regrets, nothing to show for all the efforts alas! Don\’t jump into the conclusion of dejection!!. This is a new beginning, you can start all over again with smile on your face because The Best Is Yet To Come. There are better and greater things ahead.
The difference between the impossible and the possible lies in a person\’s determination. Learn to wear determination like a Robe in all you do this year and trust God to back it up by His words \”…. Seeth a man diligent in his work he will not sit with mean men, he will dine with princes and great men\”.
Isaac sowed crops in that land and that year he harvested a hundred times as much as he had until he became the envy of the people around him. \”Now Isaac sowed seed in the land and in that year he reaped a hundred fold and the Lord blessed him. The man began to prosper, and continued prospering until he became very prosperous\”. (Genesis 26:12-13).
If we hope for that which we see not then we must with patient wait for it. For us to enjoy the great things of the future we ought to bend our backs and get the will, determination and the humility to toil in the present. This year God is going to reposition those who are prepared and ready to rediscovering their right with the Lord in a way that people will begin to envy them and that\’s my honest prayers for all that get connected to reading my write ups and followers of this medium.
This year I pray to improve both on my writings and my making this platform very active regularly with life impacting stories practical life experiences backing them up with bible verses.
