STEADFAST LOVE AND TENDER MERCIES OF THE LORD.

Lamentation 3:21-28.

21. This I recall to my mind, Therefore I have hope. 22. Through the Lord\’s mercies we are not consumed, Because His compassions fail not. 23. They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness. 24. \”The Lord is my portion,\” says my soul, \”Therefore I hope in Him!\” 25. The Lord is good to those who wait for Him, To the soul who seeks Him. 26. It is good that one should hope and wait quietly For the salvation of the Lord. 27. It is good for a man to bear The yoke in his youth. 28. Let him sit alone and keep silent, Because God has laid it on him;

The Psalmist in psalm 103:1-4 says

103:1 BLESS (AFFECTIONATELY, gratefully praise) the Lord, O my soul; and all that is [deepest] within me, bless His holy name!

103:2 Bless (affectionately, gratefully praise) the Lord, O my soul, and forget not [one of] all His benefits–

103:3 Who forgives [every one of] all your iniquities, Who heals [each one of] all your diseases,

103:4 Who redeems your life from the pit and corruption, Who beautifies, dignifies, and crowns you with loving-kindness and tender mercy;.

\”The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance\” (2 Peter 3:9).

That means that this world and our lives continue on a little longer because God is being patient and merciful toward us, not desiring that any should perish and be condemned to hell but that all of us should come to repentance and place our faith and hope in the Lord Jesus and His holy life and innocent sufferings and death in our stead. God is giving us more time to repent and come to faith in Jesus.

And so it is true: \”The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.\”

Every one of us — and that certainly includes me — is deserving of the cessation of God\’s love and mercy because of our sinfulness, but His love for us continues and His mercies are not ended. He continues to reach out to us in steadfast love and with forgiveness, calling upon us to repent and look to Him for mercy and forgiveness for the sake of Christ Jesus and His atoning sacrifice upon the cross.

The Coronavirus Pandemic menace is scourging seriously all over the entire universe. The whole world is at the worse moment and no nation is speared so far; that shows the vulnerability of man and that shows that no matter your colour, religion or status there\’s one common factor here which is Death! .

When death becomes an issue no one can wriggle him/her self out of it\’s grip no matter who you are of the society that\’s why we just have to reflect Deep in all that is going on now and reconsider our stand towards our fellow human being and so far, how have you faired in your relationship with others and your standing before God. The word of God urges us to consider the way of the Lord and be wise.

\”Who is wise? Let him understand these things. Who is prudent? Let him know them. For the ways of the Lord are right; The righteous walk in them, But transgressors stumble in them\”. ( Hosea 14:9) and Hosea 12:6 says \”So you, by the help of your God, return; Observe mercy and justice, And wait on your God continually\”.

The perilous time is at hand we must return to our God, we must maintain love and justice and also learn to wait for the Lord patiently.
23:25 \”You shall serve the Lord your God; He shall bless your bread and water, and I will take sickness from your midst\”. (Exd 23:25).

Yes!! the Pandemic is very scaring because it doesn\’t discriminate between the poor and the rich, the black and the white or the ugly and the most beautiful, even amongst the religious boundaries as such what we need most now is His word of reassurance which says \”He sent out His word and healed them and delivered them from their destruction\” (Psalm 107:20).

This is the time to cry out to the LORD for Healing, for cleansing of the polluted land. The time we shall forsake all our sins and sincerely seek him with all humility and shun evil is now.
\”Then if my people will humble themselves and pray, and search for me, and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear them from heaven and forgive their sins and heal their land\”. (2chronicle 7:14).

Yeah! It is true a lot has been said concerning the cure and the prevention of this deadly diseases yet non has been 80% effective, however we need to embrace God Almighty with a sincere heart, so that He will forgive all our atrocities and save us. Isaiah in his book encouraged us not to be afraid or dismayed for God will uphold us with His righteous right hand. Isaiah 41:10.

\”For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved\”. (John 3:16-17).

You need to accept Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and saviour and be saved, even if you are cought up at best you have peace with the Lord and you have a better home there which can not be destroyed by the monts or be afflicted with any form of affliction. May the Lord hear our prayers and save us from every untimely death in Jesus name 🙏. ✍️ BlessingOnugha ❤️.
