NEVER QUITTING SPIRIT.

“And everyone who competes for the prize is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a perishable crown but we for an imperishable crown. Therefore I run thus. Not with uncertainty thus I fight not as one who beat the air But I discipline my body and bring it into subjection lest, when I have preach to others, I myself should become disqualified”. (1corinthians 9:25-27).

“Never Quitting Spirit” is a spirit of “I Can Do” Never Deterred or Discourage in anything you find to do nomatter how difficult it seems, you keep moving on, put up with the attitude of “With God all things are possible”. You just hold on there.

In Philippians 4:12-13 Paul told the Philippians brethren despite all his sufferings it did not stop him just to encouraged them by saying “I know how to be abased, and I know how to be abound. Everywhere and in all things I have learned both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me”.

The Never Quitting Spirit will always make you see things differently. Willing to accept even failures when it comes and gives you the wisdom on what to do next and how it can be overcome without compromising vital values. It will help you take a stand while others are failing backwards to quit. It will help you fail forward not to backsliding.

Paul told the Galatians not to grow weary of doing good for in due season they will be rewarded . Galatians 6:9. Never quitting spirit will encourage you to hope for the best despite what the situation is detecting. You must remain focus.

In our bible reading Paul encouraged himself on how to maintain a stable character and remain steadfast in time of challenges. Therefore we must learn how to discipline ourselves and put on courage to face the battle of our life not boxing the air.

When you have made mistake don’t stay there , repent , forgive yourself , getup and move on. There was a bible character who could not forgive himself rather he allowed pride to led him to an early grave [He hanged himself and died] that man was AHITHOPHEL . “When Ahithophel saw that his advice had not been followed, he saddled his donkey and set out for his house to his home town. He put his house in order and then hanged himself so he died and was buried in his father’s tomb”. (2 Samuel 17:23).

In this case Ahithophel was consumed by the fire of pride, he felt rejected and could not face the people who refused his advice because to him he felt he had poured out his best advice on how best for Absalom the rebellious son of King David to wrestle out power from his father who happened to be Ahithophel ‘s former leader. (2Samuel 17:1-23).

Ahithophel felt that now that his advice was rejected the chances may be that if Absalom fails and King David bounces back that may spell doom for him. Haven seen that his vanity was wounded and his pride was bruised it aggravated his painful dejection then he saddled on his donkey in a hurry to travel all alone to his home town in other to put his household in order before he takes his life in his own hands.

Going home to put his household in order shows wisdom. He was wise enough to understand the politics of the people and of the economy and how to manipulate the behavioral pattern of the people around him to gain popularity yet was foolish enough not to understand the complexity of man due to personal gain.

Don’t be too ashamed to start all over again and don’t let pride and fear destroy you because there’s life and hope for you. Don’t quit because when there is life there is hope.

“Then Jacob was left alone and a man wrestled with him until the breaking of day . Now when He saw that HE did not prevail against him , He touched the socket of his hip and the socket of Jacob’s hip was out of joint as he wrestled with him. And He said “Let me go, for the day breaks” but he said “I will not let you go unless you bless me”. (Genesis 32:24-26).

Here Jacob wrestled with God until he received his blessing. In life never give up if you want to receive a blessing, Take firm decision in your journey to success; pursue whatever is your God’s purpose in your life. Don’t quit hold on to that dream that inspires you. Put up a very good fighting spirit and firmness of purpose even in the midst of adversity, hold tight to God’s promises And Never Quit.
