ANGEL OF HIS PRESENCE

Isaiah 63:9 NIV:

In all their distress he too was distressed, and the angel of his presence saved them. In his love and mercy he redeemed them; he lifted them up and carried them all the days of old.

\”The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him, and he delivers them\”. (Psalm 34:7).

Angels of His presence surrounds us to protect us all the time though we may not know they exist or feel their presence but believe you me they are always around us to practically demonstrate the move of God\’s action when we are faced with danger.

I am a living testimony of what God can do swiftly in the lives of them that trust and depends on Him for the demonstration of His powers. I once wrote on how The Angels of God\’s presence Delivered me from the hands of the most wicked demon possessed armed terrorist in 2018, I also wrote about how we narrowly missed what would had been an airplane disaster through a storm in 2020 and all these were made possible by His grace and By the Angels of His presence that encamped around me all times. In all these I am highly grateful to the Most High God.

Precisely 5th January 2022, I saw the practical demonstration of The Angel of His Presence which encamped around my mom swiftly swings in action; if not it would have been a different story for my parents family members. I and Some of My Siblings Spent our New Year Holidays with our parents due to the Celebration of a cultural {Right Of Passage to Manhood} of which my kid brother was one of the celebrants scheduled for 2nd and 3rd of January 2022.

For some reasons, most of us did not travel back to our various base after the occasions. On that 5th, hmmm!! A hot afternoon my mom was having lunch with my dad while taken her meals she complained of banging on her head and I heard my dad advised that she should be patient after her meals she will take anagestic to calm the headaches which he did immediately after her meals. Jesus is Lord!! almost about the time of taken the drugs and the time of trying to adjust herself we noticed my mom was dropping unconsciously at her left hand side lifelessly. My God!! shouting, yelling and crying all over, honestly confusion marred the original serene atmosphere

Voices at discordant tune raised like let\’s Rush her to the hospital… No allow her to rest a while since she just ate and took some medications… Another let\’s take her to her Room to lie down to sleep and rest for a while. Hurriedly she was helped to her bed while lying there we noticed that her left hand side was kinda looking shrinked within a split second my mom looked differently immediately we rushed her to the nearest hospital. After being examined by the doctor he informed us that she had a very high temperature but most importantly her blood pressure was normal which actually has been her medical health issue. He advised that we should take her home and continue with malaria treatment.

Alas the next day my mom couldn\’t move her left hand and leg it obviously has become limp. Shocking Right? YES!!!

Life is like a Butterfly 🦋 My dad and younger brother took her to another Hospital where some test were carried out before treatment commenced. Anyway it may sound unbelievable that someone who was active this minute and the next minute was down with some affliction. That\’s Life 🤭

\”Go to now, ye that say, To day or to morrow we will go into such a city, and continue there a year, and buy and sell, and get gain:
Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.
For that ye ought to say, If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that.
But now ye rejoice in your boastings: all such rejoicing is evil\”. (James 4:13-16)

Yeah! I have heard of Stroke incidents and it\’s attendant health discomfort but have never seen how it attacks it\’s victim just like that without notice or impeding signs. In the evening of 6th January my Mom was rushed to the 2nd hospital by my dad and my younger brother so that we don\’t leave anything to chance and continue to administer drugs on assumption.

By 7 AM the next day, I was at the hospital already since I wasn\’t around when she was rushed to the hospital. I met my mom sat on a chair preparing to brush her teeth and wash her hands by herself, I allowed her brushed and washed her hands and face, I smiled not surprised because a Song writer By John M Neale in 1862 wrote

\”Art thou weary, art thou troubled,
Art thou sore distressed?
\”Come to Me,\” saith One, \”and, coming,
Be at rest.\”

My mind raced to Psalms 71:18-21 \”Now also when I am old and greyheaded, O God, forsake me not; until I have shewed thy strength unto this generation, and thy power to every one that is to come.
Thy righteousness also, O God, is very high, who hast done great things: O God, who is like unto thee!
Thou, which hast shewed me great and sore troubles, shalt quicken me again, and shalt bring me up again from the depths of the earth.
Thou shalt increase my greatness, and comfort me on every side\”

She sighted me and said my beautiful first daughter how are you? She started singing praises to God , I was still smiling we joined her in her praises, one of the roommates said your mother woked others up this early morning with her praises to God, I noded and said that\’s typical of my mom every day. I said mom here\’s a bit stuffy you have to came outside to get some fresh air she willingly accepted, I asked her to get up with her walking stick and walk on her own and she did unaided people marvelled including doctors and nurses who were on a ward round to check on patients. I saw the moving finger of the Lord on my mom. People who saw how she was carried to the hospital the day she was rushed there couldn\’t believed my mom moved on her own though limping yet was able to walked outside and sat on a seat outside the room to receive fresh air. Wow 😳 what a Mighty God we serve!!

Her lifeless left hand side has regained strength, when doctor examined her he asked her to move her left hand up and down she did, he did their routine check and added some few additional drugs to her chart and recommended to the nurses that treatment most commence immediately while she will be placed under observation for 2 days before discharging her since it was weekend. On Monday 10th January my mom was discharged healthy and hearty moving her left hand but limps her leg due to her weight but doctor recommended a physiotherapist to help her regain full strength on her left leg and her phalanges that looks a bit shrinked to help in straightening the disfigured limb.

With God all things are possible, what God can\’t do does not exist, these are my take at all times and it gives me hope when I\’m dismayed.

The boundary line between health and ill-health is very thin and also the thin line between life and death is very delicate and tiny it can be cut short within a tinkle of an eye. We must be very careful and sensitive to what happens around us and in our dealings with others it could result to anything you never bargain for.

We are in the world but not of the world things happen just like that and unimagined without notice therefore we have to pay attention to our heart beat as well as consider others and be vigilant this year for our advisary the devíl is seeking for who to destroy.

Is the Lord that satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s. Psalm 103:5. In Matthew 6:21 the scripture says \”Wherever your treasure is, there the desires of your heart will also be\”.

Whatever we focus on dictates our actions. When we focus on earthly success and wealth, we will expend our energies on earthly matters. However, when we focus on God’s priorities, our actions will reflect on how best we handles it. While we try our best to focus on how to make ends meet; we also should make our health to be of top priority because Is only the living that can praise the Lord.

Through the scripture we know that God values our bodies. Our bodies are said to be a temple of the Holy Spirit, and we are called to take care of and honor God\’s temple. God\’s words lead us to use our bodies and the gifts He has given us to achieve His will.

\”What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God\’s\”. (1Corinthians 6:19-20).

Let the Spirit Of God Remain Richely In You and To Guide You Aright This Year Amen
