2 Timothy 2:19-21. KJV.
Nevertheless the Foundation of God standeth sure having this seal, the Lord knoweth them that are His And let everyone that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity. But in a great home there are not only vessels of gold and silver , but also of wood and of earth and some are to honour some to dishonour . If a man therefore purge himself from these he shall be a vessel unto honour , sanctified and meet for the master\’s use and prepared unto every good work.
Building a strong and sure foundation on God\’s word is paramount to life time success. The word \”SURE\” Means Secure, Safe, Trustworthy, True, Certain…..
In today\’s society we are bombarded with what the world regards important the values and ideas of how lives should be lived. Their strategies are to get us think and behave in a certain doctorial pattern but note before you adopt such pattern be sure it aligns with the word of God. Anything that does not have it\’s bearing from the word of God is fallacy if it\’s foundation does not cover all aspects of life.
\”If the foundation are destroyed , what can the righteous do? (Psalm11:3).
As you can see some foundations are built on a shaky ground while others are built on a solid ground that is how our live time foundation is likened, People built their life\’s foundation on a rocky ground which is falsehood due to the lies they must have heard. False teachings springing up here and there; some distort the truth, some dilute it while some delete it entirely by leading people astray to believe that the word of God is of no effect any longer. But no matter how much people were deceived to believe in the lies it will surely crumble, even if it lingers it may not stand and can not pass the test of time.
\”And there shall be stability in your times, an abundance of salvation, wisdom, and knowledge; the reverent fear and worship of the Lord is your treasure and His\”. (Isaiah 33:6) AMP.
But when you build on a sure foundation a ground that has been tested and trusted which is on the word of God and the word of truth will never shake or fades and Jesus Christ is that word that remains the same and will never trimble.
God\’s truth leads to God\’s way; you just have to be honest to yourself. As you grow in life at a certain age of your life you must lay a good foundation to stand will , it\’s either you are standing on a something or you don\’t stand at all, and on whatever you\’re standing on becomes the bases in which you may stand firmly or you fall. Behold in our Bible reading today, Apostle Paul urged Timothy to be a kind of person that can be use for a noble purpose
Don\’t settle for less than what God desires you to be. Make yourself an instrument meet for God\’s purpose, you may be worn out, out of shape not good for any good work. There\’s room for improvement, work on your self to get the better version of self. Don\’t get talked down you could be the material that will be suitable for that job. Only believe that all things are possible. The bible projects what goes on in a house, many vessels both of Gold, silver even the wooden ones are not left out all of them are either for honour or dishonor all seeking for the same attention and values. Yet those ones that do not have any value or honor attached to them Could still attract great honor and value to be preferred.
20 \”But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and silver, but also [utensils] of wood and earthenware, and some for honorable and noble [use] and some for menial and ignoble [use].
21 So whoever cleanses himself [from what is ignoble and unclean, who separates himself from contact with contaminating and corrupting influences] will [then himself] be a vessel set apart and useful for honorable and noble purposes, consecrated and profitable to the Master, fit and ready for any good work\” . (2 Timothy 2:20-21) AMP.
Is not over until it is over. Your life is not finished. Situation may smear dust, dirty on you. people may arise to condemn you and say all manner of lies against you. Know whose you are and on what ground you\’re standing. Start building a foundation that is worthy to relay on. When God built His foundation which is Jesus Christ and His Words He made sure it is a secured and trustworthy foundation, reliable and can be run to in time of problems. He said \”NO OTHER FOUNDATION CAN NO MAN LAY THAN THAT IS LAID WHICH IS JESUS CHRIST\”
Relay on the truth not on the falsehood that\’s prevalent to deceive people. Look onto Jesus the Author and Finisher Of Our Faith.
