REVIVE ME

Psalm 19:7-9. NIV.

7 :The law of the Lord is perfect, reviving the soul; the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple; 8:The precepts of the Lord are right, giving joy to the heart. The commands of the Lord are radiant, giving light to the eyes. 9:The fear of the Lord is pure, enduring forever. The decrees of the Lord are firm, and all of them are righteous.

When we think of decrees, commandments, and laws we only remember of those rules that restrains us in default as such it cages our freedom in the doing. But the law of the Lord revives us, make us wise and brings joy to our hearts. It gives insight, it warms up and it\’s a rewarder of them who diligently seek it. It is a guide line to life and a light on our path

When you follow his laws it leads to life and success, it is a revival of souls and it makes your ways blameless. In Psalm 119, King David sang and praised the Lord for those who keeps the precept and the laws of God and he emphasis on how much Blessings they enjoy and how they were protected from falling and they will never be put to shame.

Blessed are those whose ways are blameless,
who walk according to the law of the Lord.
2 Blessed are those who keep his statutes
and seek him with all their heart—
3 they do no wrong
but follow his ways.
4 You have laid down precepts
that are to be fully obeyed.
5 Oh, that my ways were steadfast
in obeying your decrees!
6 Then I would not be put to shame
when I consider all your commands.
7 I will praise you with an upright heart
as I learn your righteous laws.
8 I will obey your decrees;
do not utterly forsake me.

David said \”Your word have I laid up in my heart, that I might not sin against You\”. Keeping God\’s laws in our hearts is a good deterrent to sin. It is good to store God\’s word in your heart by memorizing His word as a vital guide to help us in time of temptation and when we are in a state of demoralization.

All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. (2Timothy 3:16) NLT.

The word of God is wise; it\’s trustworthy, it gives us understanding and it speaks deep inside our conscience and helps us to live a meaningful life. How do you gain all these, by reading and meditating on the word of God .

\”This Book of the Law shall not depart out of your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, that you may observe and do according to all that is written in it. For then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall deal wisely and have good success\”. (Joshua 1:8) AMP.

I pray that God Almighty will revive our souls , feed us through His words, grant us deep joy and clear guidance as we read and meditate in His word Amen
Remain Blessed. Shalom
