HYPOCRITICAL MOCKERS

Jeremiah 18;18  AMP.

Then [my enemies] said, Come and let us devise schemes against Jeremiah; for the law [of Moses] shall not perish from the priest [as this false prophet Jeremiah predicts], nor will counsel from the wise, nor the word from the prophet. Come, let us smite him with the tongue [making a charge against him to the king], and let us not pay any attention to his words.

15 But in mine adversity they rejoiced, and gathered themselves together: yea, the abjects gathered themselves together against me, and I knew it not; they did tear me, and ceased not: 16 With hypocritical mockers in feasts, they gnashed upon me with their teeth. (Psalm 35:15-16). KJV.

Blind critics, they  mock and blame someone for virtually everything. Faults finders always finding fault on everyone and everything except themselves. The bible called them blind leaders….

1 Let them alone and disregard them; they are blind guides and teachers. And if a blind man leads a blind man, both will fall into a ditch.   2 But Peter said to Him, Explain this proverb (this maxim) to us.   3 And He said, Are you also even yet dull and ignorant [without understanding and unable to put things together]?    4 Do you not see and understand that whatever goes into the mouth passes into the abdomen and so passes on into the place where discharges are deposited?     5 But whatever comes out of the mouth comes from the heart, and this is what makes a man unclean and defiles [him].     6 For out of the heart come evil thoughts (reasonings and disputings and designs) such as murder, adultery, sexual vice, theft, false witnessing, slander, and irreverent speech.  (Matthew 4:1-6)

Yeah! out of the mind comes evil thoughts. The mind of a man is where thoughts are processed. The good, the bad and the ugly all come from the mind and those are the things that condemns a man or recommends a man

When the Jews lead by Nehemiah came together and agreed to rebuild their fallen wall the likes of Sanballat and Tobiah frustrated and criticized the Jews. Both of them mocked the Jews  from rebuilding their broken wall as though their efforts were useless therefore amounted to nothing in other to discouraged them but they ignored them and stood their grounds  and  continued with their rebuilding.

1 \”When Sanballat heard we were rebuilding the wall, he was very angry, even furious. He made fun of the Jewish people. 2 He said to his friends and those with power in Samaria, “What are these weak Jews doing? Will they rebuild the wall? Will they offer sacrifices? Can they finish it in one day? Can they bring stones back to life from piles of trash and ashes?”

3 Tobiah the Ammonite, who was next to Sanballat, said, “If a fox climbed up on the stone wall they are building, it would break it down.” (Nehemiah 4:1-4).

Have you been criticized as such you chickened out of your set goals? Please go back and try again you may be surprised of what the resultant outcome will be.  Most people abandoned their projects not out of lack or not being able but borne out of discouragement from people.

Did you lost your confidence because you were rubbished by a higher personality and you missed your step or speech and you think the end has come? Nay, hold tight whatever it may be, that\’s lies your shine at the end of the story.

Now David was once sent to the war camp by his father Jesse to go visit his brothers and send some refreshments and his good will messages to his brothers who were in war front with king Saul and other Israelites but on getting there he overheard Goliath the Philistines roared and threatened the Children of Israel to a combat and the people went into hiding. David could not understand why the army of God should go into a cover just because of Mere threat of a man. Then, he began to asked what could happen to anyone that kills the giant but his senior brother rebuked and mocked him
He wasn\’t deterred, rather he went ahead to met with the king and introduced himself  assured the king that he is able and stronge  to kill the imposter because he\’s experienced enough to counter him based on his past victories.

\”And David said to the men who stood by him, “What shall be done for the man who kills this Philistine and takes away the reproach from Israel? For who is this uncircumcised Philistine, that he should defy the armies of the living God?”       Now Eliab his eldest brother heard when he spoke to the men. And Eliab\’s anger was kindled against David, and he said, “Why have you come down? And with whom have you left those few sheep in the wilderness? I know your presumption and the evil of your heart, for you have come down to see the battle.”.   :“Now what have I done?” said David. “Can’t I even speak?”   And he turned away from him toward another, and spoke in the same way, and the people answered him again as before.  (1Samuel17:25-30). Read 31-51.
