Deuteronomy 26:7. KJV.
And when we cried unto the LORD God of our fathers, the LORD heard our voice, and looked on our affliction, and our labour, and our oppression:
Many times, you just need that shot in the arm to jump-start your day and remind yourself that whatever your obstacle is, you can get through it. You get to move. Choose joy and have a great start every day towards living a life of victory.
You can get through any struggle no matter what you\’re going through. You can be victorious over afflictions by having the right mindset. A mindset of I can do all things through christ who strengthens me; A mindset of a winner. A mindset of a conqueror who is an overcomer over challenges. No matter how tough, motivate yourself and look unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith. The scripture says \”who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God\”.
Do not permit the devil to intimidate you. Jesus went to the cross and won the victory for you and so you have to put the devil in his place. The bible says, that surely the enemies will gather but there’s a promise that they will scatter before you and they shall flee from you. In the book of John 16:33 Jesus encouraged us saying that He has overcame the world already. This is our assurance over all the wiles of the enemy. His victory is our victory, His life is our life. So no matter what the enemy will against you, you will overcome if you believe. There’s power within you, and that power is the power of the Highest Order which is able to destroy and subdue all the works of darkness.
Today\’s scripture says \”And when we cried unto the LORD God of our fathers, the LORD heard our voice, and looked on our affliction, and our labour, and our oppression\” Do not harbor fear or feel that the challenge you are facing will overcome you. It will not, for Jesus has won the victory for you already.
“… For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.” And you and I know that One of the works of the enemy is afflictions. In the book of Psalms 34:19-20 \”Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivers him out of them all. He keeps all his bones: not one of them is broken.
With This we are assured that the fact that you are righteous does not mean you cannot be afflicted. In fact, immediately you decide to be righteous, your affliction will increase. The more the power of God is in your life, the more the enemies will battle and tempt you. The greater the anointing, the greater the warfare. The brighter your destiny, the harsher your attackers. However, “The Lord delivered him out of them all.” This means hundred percent deliverance is certain from all your afflictions. You will overcome no matter how Long , He will deliver you completely only rest on His promises. I pray that every power that will afflict you or break your bones shall be broken into pieces in the name of our Lord Jesus Amen.
In Nahum 1:9 What do ye imagine against the Lord? he will make an utter end: affliction shall not rise up the second time. This means God can completely deliver you from all afflictions and guide against it\’s reocourance but these lies on the powers that\’s within you in obedient because He is the Lord of hosts and He expects you to CALL UPON HIM.
James 5:13 Is any among you afflicted? Let him pray. Is any merry? let him sing psalms. This is a recommendation to anyone who is afflicted. It says: “… Let him pray.” It does not say- let him cry or worry, or fight everyone in the house. It does not say that the person should drink alcohol to a stupor or smoke Indian hemp or cigarette or commit suicide. However, it does not tell us which kind of prayers to pray. Just go ahead and pray fervently for a fervent prayer of the man of faith avails much.
Affliction should never bring someone into despair. It doesn’t last. Use it for your benefit. Use it to pray more. Use it to study the Bible more. Use it to fast more and draw closer to God. Use it to render help or render some kind of volunteer community services, use it as an experience to encourage, and inspire others who are passing through afflictions.
Get through each day with gratitude no matter what the situation may be cheer yourself up and be strong in the Lord. Do not allow man\’s rejection to get at you and do not continuously hold onto what ever lies anybody must have despitefully alleged against you for that is a ploy to distract you or cause you to fall and loss faith in Jesus christ. Trust in the Lord and be confidence in yourself.
