SEEK THE LORD, HIS STRENGTH AND FACE CONTINUALLY.

1Chronicles 16:8-11. NKJV

8 Oh, give thanks to the Lord!
Call upon His name;
Make known His deeds among the peoples!
9 Sing to Him, sing psalms to Him;
Talk of all His wondrous works!
10 Glory in His holy name;
Let the hearts of those rejoice who seek the Lord!
11 Seek the Lord and His strength;
Seek His face evermore!.

What does it mean to seek the LORD, His strength, and His face continually? It is certainly something worthy of doing through praying .\” Pray in the Spirit at all times with all kinds of prayers, asking for everything you need. To do this you must always be ready and never give up\”. (Ephesians 6:18) Reading of God\’s words and meditate thereof \”This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success\”. (Joshua 1:8)

Always be sensitive whenever you pray The LORD is worthy of being sought for day after day and night after night without fainting for He is a good God. He is mighty, true, and a miracle working God. He makes all things beautiful in His time and nothing to compare with Him . Isaiah asked in Rhetoric \”To whom then will you liken God? Or with what likeness will you compare Him?

David in his psalms extolled God and reminds us that our God is God Almighty, who is worthy to be worshipped. He is worthy of being our delight, worthy of our dependence, and worthy of our devotion. He is worthy to be loved; to be praised; to be exalted, and to be seeked. Isaiah 55:6 says \”Seek the LORD while He may be found; Call upon Him while He is near\”.

Our bible reading verse 11 says \”Seek the Lord and His strength;Seek His face evermore!. How Then Is The best way to seek the LORD? And His Strength And His Face. We must be fervent in Spirit both in praying and in searching to know Him through His words. Apostle paul said \”My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.\” \”I can do all this through him who gives me strength. \”That is why, for Christ\’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am Strong.

All those who compete in the games use self-control so they can win a crown. That crown is an earthly thing that lasts only a short time, but our crown will never be destroyed. So I do not run without a goal. I fight like a boxer who is hitting something—not just the air . Yes we need self control and discipline to run the race of life.

At times you may wish to do a good thing but the man in you is yawning and craving for a different thing entirely just to distract you from your set goals if you\’re not focused you will be out of alignment \”Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not. You are the one that needs Him and as such must be the one doing the calling and your seeking Him shall not be in vain

To seek God\’s face is to seek a deeper relationship with him. This is done not only through prayers but also through worship. Those who seek the face of God will not be disappointed,; In Psalm 105:4 \”Seek the Lord and his strength; seek his presence continually! You must be intentional not chasing shadows.

LORD, I will seek Your face. You are strong and mighty. I place my trust in You. Please God, help me to seek You daily. Give me the endurance to finish the course You have set out for me and finish well in Jesus name Àmen.

Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need. … But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and every other things shall be added unto you…
