WORK OF THE LORD.

Therefore, my beloved brethren, be firm (steadfast), immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord [always being superior, excelling, doing more than enough in the service of the Lord], knowing and being continually aware that your labor in the Lord is not futile [it is never wasted or to no purpose].

Since we know of the great victory we have in Christ, and the glorious future that is ahead of us, we are to remain encouraged and fixed our eyes in the things of God. When we serve God, we are to do so wholeheartedly because our work is not just for ourselves, it is to bring glory to God\’s name.

How can we Work in the Lord this year By continually praying, entrusting your plans to Him, seeking His guidance and actually Trusting and being obedient to His words. By Acknowledging Him to direct your part. By walking in the light of His word.

PRAYER.

Dear God, I choose to abide in you because I know that there is no one else I can turn to. No one else can compare to you my God. Thank you so much because my hope and work in you is not for nothing. Yes Lord your promises are Yeah and Amen and you change not. May I always give my best in the work I do for you my father In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.

REFLECTION

We show our trust by walking with God in accordance with his Word and with total commitment to his will for our lives. As God’s children do good works, be grateful and live a life of obedient to Him. Committing all your endeavors to Him and Working in a way that honors God.
