Psalm 107:6-9. NKJV.
6 Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble,
And He delivered them out of their distresses.
7 And He led them forth by the right way,
That they might go to a city for a dwelling place.
8 Oh, that men would give thanks to the Lord for His goodness,
And for His wonderful works to the children of men!
9 For He satisfies the longing soul,
And fills the hungry soul with goodness.
Everything good comes from God of heaven. “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change. (James 1:17). The Psalmest declared that God is good, and what He does is good; And He fills our hungry souls with good things. He is good, does good, and gives good gifts to his children and teach them His ways. A Theologian defines goodness as “that which works for the benefit or betterment of another._ JAMES BRYAN SMITH. While dictionary defined it as The quality of being morally good or virtuous.
Has God been Good to You? God is awesome in all the earth when you look around you God’s goodness is all around us in nature, his word, answered prayers, and blessings and provision. With His help, we can enjoy His goodness every day. Walking in faith, walking in love, and walking in forgiveness. Everything He does exhibits the goodness of God. Each time I’m in a flight for a journey I always like to sit at the window side to view the most miraculous wonders of God’s goodness mostly at night Wow
God in His goodness has given us so much more than we can ever deserve. He sent Jesus Christ His son to die on the cross for our sins, and He raised him from the dead. This means that we no longer need to fear sin or death because Jesus Christ finished the work of salvation on the Cross for Us. He had given us plenteous gift to make life worth living and these gifts includes healing, protection, peace, joy, strength, wisdom, and many other blessings and benefits we derives from His being good and kind to us
Psalm 23:6 says “Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life….” Goodness is God giving us what we don’t deserve. Mercy is God not giving us what we do deserve. God chases after us with mercy. That is good news, because if God chased after us in justice we would all be in trouble. Psalm 25:7 says “Do not remember the sins of my youth and my rebellious ways; according to your love remember me, for you, LORD, are good”. When God keeps records and remembers all our sins, hmmm,; we are doomed so His Goodness absorbs it all for us to enjoy His Benefits Daily.
