GOD’S GRACE , OUR MOTIVATION.

Titus 2:11-13. PB.
11 God’s marvelous grace has manifested in person, bringing salvation for everyone. 12 This same grace teaches us how to live each day as we turn our backs on ungodliness and indulgent lifestyles, and it equips us to live self-controlled, upright, godly lives in this present age. 13 For we continue to look forward to the joyful fulfillment of our hope in the dawning splendor of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus, the Anointed One.

WHAT IS GRACE ? It is the free and unmerited favor of God, his gifts to us. One such example was the salvation brought to us by Christ. It is a state of being favored and of being the chosen people. One such further example would be the Israelites, who God led to their promised land and Today we have also inherited this grace. Therefore, We are simultaneously unworthy of him, yet we are his chosen generation who are saved by His Grace.
Spiritual grace means the spontaneous, unmerited gift of the divine favour in the salvation of sinners, and the divine influence operating in individuals for their regeneration and sanctification. “And of His fullness we have all received, and grace for grace. For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ”. (John 1:16-17). ” Let us, then, feel very sure that we can come before God’s throne where there is grace. There we can receive mercy and grace to help us when we need it” (Hebrew 4:16) .
God’s grace can also be seen as undeserved favor. Grace cannot be earned; it is something that is freely given. We count on God’s grace and the bridge he built in our relationship with Him. From the foundation of the Old Testament, we know that grace is a part of God’s character and has endured from generation to generation.
The bible defined Grace as God’s kindness, His gracious generosity, His undeserved favour and spiritual blessing. Then Apostle Paul wrote in Ephesians 2:8-9 “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.”
Dictionary meaning of grace is smoothness and elegance of movement. When you carry God’s grace it brings radiance all over you. “The Israelites would see the face of Moses, how his skin shone [with a unique radiance]. So Moses put the veil on his face again until he went in to speak with God”. (Exodus 34:35 ).
God’s grace toward us originates in His character. God is “Merciful and Gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love” (Exodus 34:6). God wants to bestow blessings upon his creation (Psalm 103:1-5). He delights in the welfare of His servants (Psalm 35:27) God’s grace is sufficient for us.

PRAYER
To God be all the glory for great things He has done and greater things He will do. My Lord God almighty, who art in Heaven, I thank you for all your divine light and grace given to me every day. I may not be worthy, I may not be pure and perfect, but I beg you to be merciful onto me for in your grace, in your faith, I may go on to improve each day. In your grace, I will strive to be a better servant herein after. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.
REFLECTION
In this case we look at God’s grace, as referring to the ways God deals with all of us, The human race. God shows favor towards the unfavorable, His acceptance to the unacceptable and His kindness to the undeserving and blessings to the unworthy.
