Psalm 106:14-15
But lusted exceedingly in the wilderness, And tested God in the desert . And He gave them their request , But sent leanness into their Soul,
In the plan of God for you as a child of Destiny , both those who love and those who hate you have a part to play in bringing about the fulfillment of your destiny . For example , in the case of Joseph his father loved him but his brothers hated him . Ideally Joseph would have preferred his brothers to love him the way his father did , But if that had happened how would he ever have arrived at the place of his destiny? His brothers provoked by envy , provided the free transportation that took him to his place of destiny.
If they had known that their evil intentions towards their younger brother would fast track his dream coming true, would they have sold him into slavery ? I doubt it, it wouldn’t have been so. This simply tells us that the enemy does not see the bigger picture. GOD only allows the enemies to see how they can hinder you but He will hide from them how their action will benefit you
Believe it or not, as long as you are in God”s Will , every negative move your enemy makes will work towards your good . May the Lord open your eyes to see the good in the bad actions of your enemies in Jesus name Amen.
Moreover there is a difference between Desire and God’s Purpose . It is possible for you to have a desire which tallies with God’s plan and purpose for your life. In this case , your desire and God’s Purpose will harmonize to move you into your destiny . However it is also possible to desire what contradicts God’s purpose for your life. In such a scenario if your desire is granted , it could delay, distort, modify or even cancel God’s plans for your life.
Mark 11:24, “THEREFORE I SAY TO YOU ,WHATEVER THINGS YOU ASK WHEN YOU PRAY, BELIEVE THAT YOU RECEIVE THEM AND YOU WILL HAVE THEM” Here Jesus promised them whatever thing they Desire while praying and they believe that it has been given them by God it shall be so. This ought to be a promise made to deliver to you according to your request made in faith.
That translate to being mindful of what you desire while praying because it might come to pass. As a child of Destiny , You must be careful what you ask for , least you ask outside of God’s Will. “…..AND HE SENDS LEANNESS INTO YOUR SOUL” (Psalm 106:15). Every time you desire what God does not want for you , it amounts to working without getting good results.
“SO TELL THEM AS SURELY AS I LIVE DECLARES THE LORD , I WILL DO TO YOU THE VERY THING I HEARD YOU SAY”. (Numbers 14:28).
Stop working against God’s plans for your life. From today harmonize your plan with God’s purpose for you , “I KNOW THE PLANS I HAVE FOR YOU DECLARES THE LORD , PLANS TO PROSPER YOU AND NOT TO HARM YOU, PLANS TO GIVE YOU HOPE AND A FUTURE” (Jeremiah 29:11). Any personal plan that does not blend with God’s Plan has to be reconsidered if you must gain good standing.
We struggle every day to make ends meet due to several factors, How be it God sees all our struggles and He said Come to me all that are bothered with hard Labour for I will give you rest.
