THE WORD OF GOD IS LIGHT.

John 1:1-5
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. ² He was in the beginning with God. ³ All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. ⁴ In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. ⁵ And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.

When God commanded that let there be light and light came into being and shine very bright on earth. Those who lives by God\’s word do not live in darkness any more because they have seen the light which is the word of God. Those who accepts Jesus Christ as His only begotten Son has seen the light and the light dwells in them.

Jesus is the word of God and also the light of the world. Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying \”I am the light of the world. He who follows me shall not work in darkness but have light of life\”. (John 8:12). The light that God\’s word gives is always available to anyone who is groping in darkness to come out of darkness to His marvelous light.

Darkness is not anything cherished by anybody, it could mean a situation not glorifying or a moment of mourning in somebody\’s life or wilderness experience. Whatever it is that has taken light or shine be away from your life must not be kept silence, you must arise on your feet with immediate effect to put it to a stop in Jesus name 🙏

We all need light that comes from the word of God to illuminate our paths so that we that we do not stumble or fail into a ditch. The psalmist says \”Thy word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path\”. (Psalm 119:105).

It\’s only the word of God that will bring light and understanding to the simple hearted that was why king David cried out to the Lord when he was trubbled and said \”Oh, send out your Light and Your truth! Let them lead me to your holy hill. And to your Tabernacle. Then I will go to the altar of God….\” (Psalm 43:3-4)
