1 Thessalonians 4:11-12 (TLB).
[11]This should be your ambition: to live a quiet life, minding your own business and doing your own work, just as we told you before.
[12]As a result, people who are not Christians will trust and respect you, and you will not need to depend on others for enough money to pay your bills.
Paul the apostle tried to cautioned the Christians living in Thessalonia on the importance of living a good life. He told them that Christianity is not just out of mere showing of love to fellow christain and continue in self indulgence which is immoral rather they should live a responsible life style in all aspect of living and shun their idle lives, always depending on others for a handouts. Some of them look down on manual labour as such lousy away and yet want to be fed by looking up to the haves as a result they were not accorded respect at all.
As a Christian you can not be effective if all you do is to wait until you\’re supported before you make a move in life. You must learn to be a positive force in your society despising not a humble beginning and this was echoed when VINCENT DE PAUL said \”God always gives a great blessing to humble beginnings than to those that start with the chiming of bells\” And it was also collaborated when JOYCE MEYER said \”small beginnings are the launching pad to great endings\”.
God can make something great out of your humble beginning. There is always a bigger plans for our lives because it fits into God\’s plan for us and we need to keep such in our minds so that we don\’t give up. God has always encouraged us to move ahead and carry on with any task given to us because he has putting the \”Ability To Do In Us\” since He knows the future and His plans towards us is of good not of evil. \”For I know the plans I have for you says the LORD, \”They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope\”. (Jeremiah 29:11).
I will never forget my humble beginning and when I looked back to the past I smile and said God To You Alone Be All The Glory 🙏 it can only be God. I remembered when I was despised, was resented and my family (my husband, Children and I) became a point of discussion in a most undignifying way by those whom I once helped and sacrificed a lot to touched their lives when the goings was good but when the tides changed and the goings becomes bad and rough hmmm!! Thank God 🙌 the dried Bone come up to life again Hallelujah 🙏
\”By faith we understand that the entire universe was formed at God\’s command, that what we now see did not come from anything that can be seen\”. (Hebrews 11:3).
Can you just see that God called the universe into existence out of nothing. He declared it to become and things came into being. By faith you can recreate your world if it is not so God wouldn\’t have made it to be.
Your best bet in life is to get yourself ready and be prepared to respond to God\’s word by making it your goal to live a quiet life and be productive, minding your own business, working with your hands not depending solely on what anybody can do for you before you make a headway. Just start from somewhere you will be surprise how much you will accomplish
\”Do not despise these small beginnings for the Lord rejoices to see the work begins, to see the plumb line in Zerubbabel\’s hands\”. (Zechariah 4:10).
And God says He will bless the works of your hands.
\”He will open to you his wonderful treasury of rain in the heavens, to give you fine crops every season. He will bless everything you do; and you shall lend to many nations, but shall not borrow from them\”. (Deuteronomy 28:12).
This year God will open His wonderful treasures of heaven to pour down His riches in glory to bless us Avail yourself !!!!. Thanks ✍️ BlessingOnugha ❤️
We need to remember that even as we love on others, we need to remember to live our best life doing all that is necessary to ensure we are also doing things in line with God’s word. We can’t also wait for things to be handed out is without working for it.
