GREAT FAITH.

Hebrew 11:1-6. (Amp. B).

11:1 NOW FAITH is the assurance (the confirmation, the title deed) of the things [we] hope for, being the proof of things [we] do not see and the conviction of their reality [faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses].

11:2 For by [faith–trust and holy fervor born of faith] the men of old had divine testimony borne to them and obtained a good report.

11:3 By faith we understand that the worlds [during the successive ages] were framed (fashioned, put in order, and equipped for their intended purpose) by the word of God, so that what we see was not made out of things which are visible.

11:4 [Prompted, actuated] by faith Abel brought God a better and more acceptable sacrifice than Cain, because of which it was testified of him that he was righteous [that he was upright and in right standing with God], and God bore witness by accepting and acknowledging his gifts. And though he died, yet [through the incident] he is still speaking. [Gen. 4:3-10.]

11:5 Because of faith Enoch was caught up and transferred to heaven, so that he did not have a glimpse of death; and he was not found, because God had translated him. For even before he was taken to heaven, he received testimony [still on record] that he had pleased and been satisfactory to God. [Gen. 5:21-24.]

11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please and be satisfactory to Him. For whoever would come near to God must [necessarily] believe that God exists and that He is the rewarder of those who earnestly and diligently seek Him [out].

“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” – Hebrews 11:1

Having faith means believing something that you are yet to see physically, so much so that you can feel it already and hold it with your inward eyes, that\’s why the bible refers to FAITH As A SUBSTANCE. Your faith must be that which already you have a strong believe that it is done without doubt.

“Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.” – (Mark 11:24).

Faith is the currency of operations in the spiritual realm which controls the physical; it is the greatest currency in the world. With faith, everything is possible (Mark 9:23). “If I can?” Jesus asked. “Anything is possible if you have faith.”

However, there are different categories of faith. Some people have no faith at all. They believe in total impossibility and are consumed by fear. Some have little faith as Jesus pointed out to them when they could only see, These ones believe in the impossibilities within themselves but believe that it can be done through another person as such it can be possible only for certain people like their Pastor or General Overseer. They don’t believe they also can work out miracles. And that was why Jesus called them men of little faith in Matthew 6:30 He Says

\”And if God cares so wonderfully for flowers that are here today and gone tomorrow, won’t he more surely care for you, O men of little faith?.

Howbeit, there is faith as the grain of a mustard seed (Matthew 17:20). This faith, though small, can move mountains. It is the starting point for a man of faith. There is also great faith, according to Matthew 15:21-28. It is the kind that does not accept “No” for an answer, it is persistent. Not only does the fellow with great faith believe that all things are possible, he also endures even when manifestations are delayed. May Your faith be great in the mighty name of Jesus 🙏.

When Jesus was with His disciples and as they moved about , He was teaching them the principles of life and when They got to the cities of Tyre and Sidon, a Canaanite woman approached Jesus for mercy so that her demon possessed daughter will be healed and these were the conversations in Matthew 15:26-28.

15:26 And He answered, It is not right (proper, becoming, or fair) to take the children\’s bread and throw it to the little dogs.

15:27 She said, Yes, Lord, yet even the little pups (little whelps) eat the crumbs that fall from their [young] masters\’ table.

15:28 Then Jesus answered her, O woman, great is your faith! Be it done for you as you wish. And her daughter was cured from that moment. Praise The LORD!

In this case I know as much as you do know that you must be a very patient and humane person to have stayed one minute more to have continued the conversations more so when you heard Him mentioned that healing [Bread] is meant for His Children not for anyhow person who has no connection with the Father or the Master as such can\’t be thrown to the little dogs. Wow!!!!!.

Great faith must actually be persistently stubborn without showing off or having some airs around you. You must press on in your faith that\’s why in Romans 10:17 it says

\”Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God\”

The volume of His word in you determines your level of faith in Him. If your faith will increase, you must be addicted to God’s word. Meditate on it day and night. Season your words with the scriptures at all times as well as teaching your children and your entire household according to the book of Deuteronomy 6:7-9
\”You must teach them to your children and talk about them when you are at home or out for a walk; at bedtime and the first thing in the morning.
Tie them on your finger, wear them on your forehead,
and write them on the doorposts of your house!.

Thank God for His grace ,He will make all things possible for us 🙏 Thanks for Reading and Cheers!! ✍️ BlessingOnugha ❤️.

  1. Faith is very necessary in order to have a relationship with God. There are a lot of blessings we need and they might not be given to us exactly when we think we need it but because of the relationship we have with God, we believe and know that the blessing we asked for is coming. God wants us to have faith in Him, even as little as a mustard seed, and we will see and know that God is good. You can’t say you have faith and still have doubt in God. Doubt delays/hinders blessings so you have to totally surrender to His will and truth that in my time, he will make all things perfect.
