THE WAY OF PEACE.

Isaiah 59:8-9 (ESV).

8 They do not know the way of peace, And there is no justice in their tracks; They have made their paths crooked, Whoever treads on them does not know peace. 9. Therefore justice is far from us, And righteousness does not overtake us; We hope for light, but behold, darkness, For brightness, but we walk in gloom.

Luke 1:78-79 (ESV).

, 78. Because of the tender mercy of our God, With which the Sunrise from on high will visit us, 79. TO SHINE UPON THOSE WHO SIT IN DARKNESS AND THE SHADOW OF DEATH, To guide our feet into the way of peace.\”.

Jesus Christ told His disciples in John 14:27. When He was about leaving them and assured them how He will leave them with his own peace that cannot be compared with the kind of peace obtainable anywhere in the world.

\”I am leaving you with a gift of peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give . So don\’t be troubled or afraid\”.

In the Bible, peace refers to quietness of mind, rest, wholeness and prosperity. Peace is a major part of our inheritance as a child of God. Jesus Christ out saviour has paid the price for us to always have peace, Isaiah 53:5.

Even in the midst of storms, we do not only have God’s peace, but we can also overcome those storms with God’s peace. God loves us so much and He always wants us to abide in His peace. He doesn’t want us to be troubled or anxious about anything. He wants us to know how to declare His peace over storms like Jesus did (Mark 4:39) He wants to always guide us to experience peace in every area of our lives and He said
\”Let the peace of Christ rule in your heart\’s since as members of one body you were calling to peace and be thankful\”. (Colossians 3:15)

We must give ourselves to prayers. Just imagine what\’s going on all over the world now troubles, war threats; killings even in your neighborhood one is no more save because you wouldn\’t know what to expect or what you cannot expect any longer. May God have mercy.

In Isaiah 59:8 the bible tells us how the people don\’t know where to find peace or what it means to be just and good rather they mapped out crooked ways and as many as follows them knows not the way of peace. .

People must turn from their evil ways and do good. They should seek peace and pursue it with all their mighty. 1peter 3:11. May the peace of the Lord which transcends all understanding be and guard our hearts and minds in Jesus name 🙏.

However, having faith in Christ and being able to pray and stir up God’s peace, walking in God’s ways allows us to continually experience His peace even in the midst of storm will lead us to the righteous ways of God which is the ways of peace.

Though we are in the world but we are not of the world so worrying like people of the world doesn’t add to our faith or help us make progress in life. Therefore we must trust in God’s love and focus on pleasing Him, that will be added to us and will be accounted to us as obedient to the word of faith. Trust God for safety is of Him.
