The lockdown and the devastating effect of Covid-19 has brought people down on their kneels and closely to God. People generally pray more now as if there will be no tomorrow. At times you listen to some prayer points, you probably will hear something like My Father, My God, please have Mercy on us for all the evil things we have done and say that has offended YOU. Please, Father those sins that have always beclouds our thoughts including those evil plans that makes us derail and have fallen shut of your glory, do not hold it against us….
One day, on my usual mid night prayers as I was ready to pray I grab my bible and about to read. I paused to listen to my neighbour as I found out that her praying hours tarries with mine during the quiet time of the night. That particular night; I heard her say God please,this Coronavirus infection I know is your anger against all our wickedness as such you want to rid off sinners who must have indulged in immoral acts. God please I repent of all my wordly life style.
I said that\’s true ooo so Worldly life style is a Sin against God. That is true, in one way or the other we have displayed a kind of Worldliness in different form and we do not think it sin against God\’s purpose for our lives. The thoughts in our minds counts a lot for our welbeing. That\’s why it is said; God look into our heart to know our intention.
\”I, the Lord search the heart, I test the mind even to give every man according to his ways, according to the fruit of his doing\”. (Jeremiah 17:10)

In Romans 8:6-10. (NKJV).
6. For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. 7. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be. 8. So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God. 9. But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His. 10. And if Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit is life because of righteousness
CARNAL MIND is refered to Being worldly, given to flesh or materialistic, mundane minded. Yes! We have come to the reality of knowing the truth and the powers in Lord Jesus Christ. We have come to grip the fact that all power belongs to God that God is the Ultimate in life and life with Him leads to peace.
Everyone now including nations are looking up to Him for safety and healing of this pandemic because Covid-19 has exposed the vulnerability of man and their Worldliness which can not save them, they are now embracing God. Must we have to wait until time of calamity to profess His Lordship or before we seem it right to live a worthy life because it might be too late.
CARNAL mind is a state of enemity to God and such mind does not submit to God\’s law.
Ephesians 2:1-5
1. As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins, 2. in which you used to live when you followed the ways of this world and of the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient. 3. All of us also lived among them at one time, gratifying the cravings of our flesh and following its desires and thoughts. Like the rest, we were by nature deserving of wrath. 4. But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, 5. made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved.
Now we are in the phase of reopening of the economy, thank God he spared our lives to witness a new Dawn; He raised us to a new lifestyle. Those that died are not more sinners than us who are alive, we are alive for a greater purpose. We are all gona face recovery phase in all life\’s aspect. We have prayed and prayed for forgiveness of sins and a rebirth therefore our testimony would be like that of David when he realized his sins where before God, he then said in Psalm 51:10-13
10. Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. 11. Do not cast me from your presence or take your Holy Spirit from me. 12. Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me. 13. Then I will teach transgressors your ways, so that sinners will turn back to you.
You owe your self every sense of responsibility to play safe because government all over the affected nations have decided to allow individuals take responsibility of their actions and Inactions for agreeing to flag down or lift the lockdown laws for people to wisely go back to their social lives and continue with their live style.
