Tips- EXFOLIATION
Exfoliation is the removal of the oldest dead skin cells of the skin outmost surface.

I started this article, not as an expert but I have undergone good training and carrried out proper research well enough to talk on the subject matter.
So far so good, it is work in progress. I have used my face as an experimental surface since this lockdown and sincerely ready to share my experience.

I started with some home made face mask when I could not get my regular face mask and i found out that it worked for me.
Please read my previous articles on Skincare for reference…
My skin type is normal-dry skin. I frequently continued on my exfoliation and my face mask back to back because I was enjoying the smooth effect until I found out I was having a breakout at my age(50+).

HOW DO WE EXFOLIATE CORRECTLY?

Exfoliation is an act of removing dead skin cells from the outside skin layers to allow new skin to surface, by so doing, you will help your skin to increase in blood circulation and it will help the skin brightens up and improves the appearance of your skin.

There are different methods of exfoliation, your skin type and the condition of the skin should be taking into consideration before you indulge in any kind of exfoliation.

Naturally, your skin sheds its own dead cell to allow new skin appear monthly; mostly with a younger skin it will be visible to notice but with older skin the shedding might not be all that visible due to the reduction of collagen in the skin that is why if you want your skin to glow with age, proper exfoliation is recommended.

There are methods of exfoliation: Manual and chemical methods, but since we are dealing with the natural application of organic produce to enhance beauty, we are not going to talk of any chemically formulated skincare here.

There are methods of using manual ways to achieve great lasting solutions to beauty instead of the harsh effects instigated by the use of acid or chemicals which will always show negative reactions on the long run.
Nature is always subtle and persistent. As such you have to be patient in following natural skin care routine that works for you according to your skin type.

HOW TO EXFOLIATE MANUALLY.

1 Soap and sponge- you can use clean water to wash your face with soap. 2 Use face towel and soaked on a warm water cover the entire face for 5 minutes and wipe your face with the wet towel.
3 Scrub- Use of organic granules like brown sugar and granulated coffee mixed with original honey 4 ground Rice mixed with warm water. 5 finely ground egg shell mixed with milk or water. Apply any of your choice scrub on your face, allow it to settle for 20 minutes before you use circular motion to scrub your face. After scrubbing wash with luke warm water or cold water.

Please note that the moment you start exfoliating your face, your skin becomes sensitive to the sun rays and could cause irritant and you begin to experience sun burn, always make sure 15 minutes to going out of your house apply a very good sunblock cream that has up to 30SPF To protect your skin from sun burn.

However, whenever your face is well exfoliated. if you apply face mask on your face and finish it up with any good anti age face moisturizer, your face will be glowing and you start looking younger than your biological age.

Howbeit, we must be careful not to over do it, 2-3times is enough for the week. Remember I told you earlier of how I started having breakouts, I found out that the frequency in exfoliating my face becomes unnecessary too much and my skin starts to react, resisting the abuse by causing acne. That again took me to proper research on the best way of pampering the face rightly with nature\’s own without causing damage to your skin. Having reviewed some organic food and correct applications to enhance beauty.

My next editions will be discussing on best combination of food items that can guarantee good results for your natural skincare beauty. Thanks for Reading. Cheers!! Blessingonugha ❤️
