Matthew 6:25 -30
6.25 Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?
6.26 – Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?
6.27 – Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature?
6.28 – And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:
6.29 – And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
6.30 – Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?
In verse 28. The Lord was reminding us here that the Lilies of the field do not labour or produce anything yet they are dressed in the most glamorous way without their efforts.
Determine to worry less this season , accept what you can not change and embrace the lessons it taught you and move on in life.
Resist worry, learn to love yourself and love others be responsible and responsive to your environment because Good and Bad are the spices of life, you just have to keep living and not to allow yourself to be stress over things you do not have control of.
Most time you find out that anxieties do not always come as a result of your thinking about the future but when you try to control what lies ahead you begin to create problems for yourself .
According to our bible verse the lilies do not struggle or bother about its futures , they just blossom because it puts its cares and worries on God who clothes and beautifies them.
In this 2nd half of the year 2020, God Almighty will enable you to succeed in all endeavors because He resides in you since He provides for the lilies of the field and you worth much more than the lilies, Trust Him to take care of all that bothers you for He cares for you more and will beautify you more
A song writer wrote about WHY WORRY When you can pray ? Trust in Jesus, He will be your way . Don’t be a doubting Thomas, Rest fully in His Promise. Why worry worry worry worry when you can pray.
Isaiah 26:3 says “thou will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on the Lord because he trusted in Him“. learn to put up with a positive mind set at all times no matter what the case may be , Remain focus on the bigger pictures. Look up to God focus on His promises not on what we see now for what we see now is temporal while those things we are yet to see is eternal. 2corinthians 4:18
By worrying you cannot change anything . The Bible says you can\’t add one cubit onto your stature, so all you need to do is to take it to Jesus and allow Him handle it for He knows the best and He has the solutions to all problems.
Always remember that worrying doesn’t empty tomorrow of its sorrows rather it empty today of its strength. Despite your challenges , delays you don’t have to worry because God Almighty will surely make a way for you even when there seems to be no way. Refuse To Yield To Worry. Shalom!
