John 15:5 –
\”I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing\”. (NLT)
Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the LORD our God. (Psalm 20:7) KJV.
Trusting God is simply believing that He loves you and knows He is your Father , He has the power to help you at all times and He wants to do a great and mighty things for you. You have to develop absolute dependency on what He says He will do and Believing in it without doubt.
But unfortunately some do not see it that way rather they believe on what man says or the happenings of the moment. That\’s why even amongst the christains things have change, is no more according to the word of God rather according to what their pastor has said.
These days people tend to trust on what they see more now and what they possess than on the Trust in God. For some it has become conditional approval that\’s why people are now getting close to trusting on their capability, of what they can achieve on their own making. Of Which is not good and the book of proverbs says,
\”Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make straight your paths\”. ( proverbs 3:5-6).
When you make God your trust and accept Jesus Christ as your personal Savior, The Spirit of God comes to dwell inside you. This means you don’t have to go through someone else to get to God. He lives in your heart and you can learn to trust Him according to His word and that will help you to draw nearer to him.
Therefore you will perceive Him as the Vine while You are The Branch and you then will bear much fruits because you depend on Him to function and He will guide you to bring forth impressive result
HOW CAN WE PUT OUR TRUST IN GOD ?
Yes, I know one may ask how can we trust in the Lord that we do not see with our human eyes or hear from Him. Very good question!! It is as possible as you can make Jesus your personal Savior and Friend \”What a friend we have in Jesus….\”
How?
We have to habitually study the Word of God to really have confidence in God and to know that we can hear Him. As we spend time reading and meditating on the Scriptures, we develop a strong ties and His Spirit abides in us. Then we can hear God speaking to our heart and helping us make decisions based on what He is leading us to do, not just what we think, feel or want.
When you go beyond what you want, what you think and what you feel and do what the Word and the Spirit of God tells you to do, you will see yourself being able to develop good habits and breaking out of bad habits. Until you come to a place where the blessings of God – His righteousness, peace and joy begins to get to the overflowing in your life.
These are habitual practices that will gear you towards trusting God and not to lean on your own understanding.
May You Be Blessed As You Read amen 🙏
