DO NOT DESPISE THE SEASON OF YOUR WAITING.

GENESIS 50: 19-20 . ESV

19 But Joseph said to them, “Do not fear, for am I in the place of God?

20 As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good, to bring it about that many people should be kept alive, as they are today.

We all must have gone through a season of waiting for God\’s promises to be fulfilled in one way or the other in our lives. Season of waiting can be frustrating at times, we feel disappointed when answers haven\’t come on time yet you should not despise that waiting period hang on there and trust in God.

Instead find another waiting strategy that can bring succours to you kind of distracting mechanism which may keep your mind busy while focusing on the engagement of the moment. During that season your faith is being nurtured and it grows while trusting Him.

There and then you begin to know more about God\’s faithfulness. All through the period in waiting you will realize that the process towards the promised is very crucial and significant to your actual receiving.

\”And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the LORD appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect.
And I will make my covenant between me and thee, and will multiply thee exceedingly.
And Abram fell on his face: and God talked with him, saying,
As for me, behold, my covenant is with thee, and thou shalt be a father of many nations.
Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee.
And I will make thee exceeding fruitful, and I will make nations of thee, and kings shall come out of thee\” (Genesis 17:1-6).

Abraham was ninety nine years old when God called him out to reaffirmed the promised He made earlier with Abram at his earlier eighties when God promised him that a stranger in his house shall not be a heir to his throne rather his own child shall be his heir and Abram believed God and it was counted for him as righteousness due to his faith in God. (Please read Genesis 15:1-6).

However between the time of promised and the fulfilment of the promised Abraham was very busy, he engaged himself actively on other activities keeping the candle of faith flaming up till when he was 100 years before the child of promised \”Isaac\” came on board. \”And the LORD visited Sarah as he had said, and the LORD did unto Sarah as he had spoken.
For Sarah conceived, and bare Abraham a son in his old age, at the set time of which God had spoken to him\”. (Genesis 21:1-2).

Joseph who is our storyline was a child of Destiny, loved by his father dearly but hated by his brothers who equally hated his dreams. He hard his dreams revealed to his brothers which brought disaffection between him and his brethren and there was conspiracies to terminate his life in other to destroy his dreams

18 \”They saw him from afar, and before he came near to them they conspired against him to kill him. 19 They said to one another, “Here comes this dreamer.
20 Come now, let us kill him and throw him into one of the pits. Then we will say that a fierce animal has devoured him, and we will see what will become of his dreams.” (Genesis 37:18-20). ESV.

Meanwhile from the point of the disclosure of his dream to all the family members to the point of making it to the palace of Pharaoh of Egypt to becoming the Prime minister of Egypt. He had gone through terrible experiences that looked so dehumanizing that ordinarily do not look as if he will ever be a candidate of his dream but providence and his faith in God kept him going from the pit to portipher\’s house as a slave, then accused of Rape by Portipher\’s wife to prison then to the palace as a ruler, what a dream!!!.

Time of waiting in life is very significant because it may be considered as an incubation period where a person can be informed or disinformed which is the crucial time of character formation whereby you\’re either will be bred or break.

Joseph decided to enhance his technique by teaching himself how to render a faultless services diligently, if you recalled that while he was with his family he was a special child that had his father\’s backing and loved as such he wore Coat of many colors and does not do any house chores.. He practically refused to be lured into adultary arm of his boss wife because he fears God and was satisfied with being made the second in command for doing his work satisfactorily. He graduated from being a dreamer to interpreting other inmates dreams because God was with him. He was forgotten in the prison despite his request to the chief cup bearer of Pharaoh \”But think on me when it shall be well with thee, and shew kindness, I pray thee, unto me, and make mention of me unto Pharaoh, and bring me out of this house\” (Genesis 40:14)

All these Sufferings did not deter him from showing kindness at the time the needs arises, he busied his mind and refused to suck over his predicament. The road towards the time of his dreams to the manifestation of his dream looked blink not looking as though it will ever come into being yet he did not worked himself to unbelief of the fact about what God had declared, he trusted God and did not disobeyed.

We can do the same when you have a vision about a particular thing in life pursue that vision no matter what comes on your way. Those challenges you face may be a vehicle that may convey your destiny to reality only believe and trust in God. Refuse to join your emotion with another person\’s emotions, it may be a deciptive plough to take your eyes off your focus
When Jacob their father died while in Egypt, Joseph\’s brothers felt guilty and thought that Joseph may take the exit of their father to revenge for their wickedness on him and they wiped up emotion by sending messages to Joseph.

\”And when Joseph\’s brethren saw that their father was dead, they said, Joseph will peradventure hate us, and will certainly requite us all the evil which we did unto him.
And they sent a messenger unto Joseph, saying, Thy father did command before he died, saying,
So shall ye say unto Joseph, Forgive, I pray thee now, the trespass of thy brethren, and their sin; for they did unto thee evil: and now, we pray thee, forgive the trespass of the servants of the God of thy father. And Joseph wept when they spake unto him.
And his brethren also went and fell down before his face; and they said, Behold, we be thy servants\”.(Genesis 50:15-18).

Even if you are wronged repeatedly by the same person (s) forgive them and move about your work do not allow them to tie you down with their guilt. \”So we are convinced that every detail of our lives is continually woven together to fit into God’s perfect plan of bringing good into our lives, for we are his lovers who have been called to fulfill his designed purpose\”. (Romans 8:28)

Be Not Discouraged In This Ember Months Trust In God for All Your Visions That Have Not Come Through Since The Beginning Of 2021 It Will Surely Come To Fulfilment Before End Of 2021 Amen.
