WALK IN THE LIGHT

1 John 1:17

Today is the First Sunday of the month of October, as I was having my devotion this morning and the scripture for today was taking from 1 John 1:17, I felt as though I just walked out of darkness to enter a bright light where it seems things begin to make sense to me while praying I felt relieved in my spirit. If you read that verse it seems like a simple instruction yes! But loaded with spiritual insight

I remembered the song written by John H Sammis many decades ago which is still fresh any time it is sang

When we walk with the Lord

In the light of His word,

What a glory He sheds on our way;

While we do His good will,

He abides with us still,

And with all who will trust and obey.

The light of God is revealed to as many as are willing to have a walk with the Lord for Jesus said in Matthew 5:14 \”You are light of the world, A town built on a hill cannot be hidden\” . Wherever we are we should light up the place with our presence by the things which we do that will glorify the name of God Almighty.

We ought to have fellowship with one another and as we do He is ready to purify us and cleans us of all our trespasses

Let your light shine brighter this month, refuse to allow dull moment this month of October. Be a light that shines in your environment and do not forget to Walk with the Lord in all you do that He May abide with you Amen
