Romans 6:14-16. (Passion).
Remember this: sin will not conquer you, for God already has! You are not governed by law but governed by the reign of the grace of God.
15 What are we to do, then? Should we sin to our hearts’ content since there’s no law to condemn us anymore? What a terrible thought! 16 Don’t you realize that grace frees you to choose your own master? But choose carefully, for you surrender yourself to become a servant—bound to the one you choose to obey. If you choose to love sin, it will become your master, and it will own you and reward you with death. But if you choose to love and obey God, he will lead you into perfect righteousness.
We have been given full power to make choice of whom/what to pay our allaigence to in the course of our decision to certain principles. From the creation of the word when God created man He then allowed man to be in control of what God Himself had created and charged man to have Dominion over all the earth and to continue recreation by procreation and remodeling the things He made and have full charge and care for continuity of lives.
Genesis 1:26-29 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.
Since then man began to make his own choice and become responsible for the actions of his choices. Yet in His magnanimity He encouraged us to make the right choices so that we may live including those whom our decisions may likely affect in one way or the other may likewise live. In Deuteronomy 30:19 \”I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live\”.
Therefore, l declare that sin will not have Dominion over us since we are not leaving under the law rather we are leaving according to His grace and by that grace we are what we have decided to be by obeying His words.
What we appeal to is granted onto us; when Apostle Paul was wrongly accused and in trying to convinced the judges about his innocence even when the witnesses called up could not proof their case beyond reasonable doubt and one of the Judges Festus refused to see with the eye of good judgement because he was bribed and intended to please the Jews seems not to give him fair hearing, he therefore decided to appeal to Ceasear to the surprise of both the public and Festus and his request was granted him.
Acts 25:9-12 But Festus, willing to do the Jews a pleasure, answered Paul, and said, Wilt thou go up to Jerusalem, and there be judged of these things before me?
Then said Paul, I stand at Caesar\’s judgment seat, where I ought to be judged: to the Jews have I done no wrong, as thou very well knowest.
For if I be an offender, or have committed any thing worthy of death, I refuse not to die: but if there be none of these things whereof these accuse me, no man may deliver me unto them. I appeal unto Caesar.
Then Festus, when he had conferred with the council, answered, Hast thou appealed unto Caesar? unto Caesar shalt thou go.
So it is the same with making choice, the choice we make in life goes a long way in influencing events in our lives that\’s why we must be careful to consider properly our ways. Already His grace given to us supposed to make us wise so that God\’s grace will not be in vain \”What are we to do, then? Should we sin to our hearts’ content since there’s no law to condemn us anymore? What a terrible thought\”!
I pray that sickness and all that satan represents shall not have Dominion over us. We must take our place of authority over all things opposing every imagination and thoughts that will hold us bound in Jesus name amen.
Remain Blessed
