Psalms 34:1-3 I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.
My soul shall make her boast in the LORD: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad.
O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together.
The psalmist in verse 4 of our reading today say \”O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together\”. This season of the year, Christians World wide Celebrate Jesus Christ who was born for the salvation of mankind. For He was born to do the Will of His Father \”FOR I HAVE COME DOWN FROM HEAVEN NOT TO DO MY WILL BUT TO DO THE WILL OF HIM WHO SENT ME\”. (John 6:38) He is the Light of the World for He come to the world to bring light to a dark world. \”I HAVE COME INTO THE WORLD AS A LIGHT SO THAT WHOEVER BELIEVES IN ME MAY NOT REMAIN IN DARKNESS\”. (John12:46).
While we are Rejoicing for the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ who is the Reason for the Season, we should be mindful of The Reason for His Coming also so that things will be done in moderation and in honor to His Holy name. We have to give Him praise and magnify the Lord for His gift of Jesus Christ to the World.
There\’s power in corporate praise and worship for Christians all over the world. This is the time to come together as Christians to praise God for there is strength in togetherness, one can encourage and help the other in need for God gave to us Jesus Christ to lighten up our dark and hopeless world; therefore we ought to give to cheer up few broken hearted around us, give according to your capacity not beyond what you can bear. This will definitely help someone pull through some difficult challenges.
Don\’t shy away from encouraging fellow brethren by rendering a little kindness, pray together with them, you can also lift some families that are facing challenges up in intercesory prayers which is also a special gift to someone who is incapacitated. Take time off to share love and kind word to those that needs them to encourage them, put smiles on someone\’s face and let them know that God cares for them. Whatever they are going through now is for a while and will not last forever.
Our God is a God of possiblity, things can still turn around for you even at this very last minute of the year. You most motivate yourself and move on with the expectations that God will surely answer your prayers and grant your heart desires even if it looks as though the year is running out and the month of December which is the last month in 2021 is almost gone and January for the year 2022 is stairing at you with uncertainty please do not be moved hold on to your faith and Trust God for He is more than Able to Accomplish everything He says He will do.
