CLEAR CONSCIENCE.

1Timothy 1:19    AMP

Holding fast to faith (that leaning of the entire human personality on God in absolute trust and confidence) and having a good (clear) conscience. By rejecting and thrusting from them [their conscience], some individuals have made shipwreck of their faith. 

If we must want to live a good healthy life we must aspire to keep a clear conscience. I know we all have the propensity to rationalize our attitude towards our actions to keep away the feeling of guilt over what we have done. When we  bury any negative emotion within us without knowing its consequences that our conscience may be snared, we end up paying dearly for lack of repentance thereby having  made shipwreck of our faith according to our reading.

God through His grace has offered us the opportunity to repent and turn a new leaf whenever we have derail from the truth and come back to Him with a broken heart ; He will not foresake us.    \”My sacrifice, O God, is a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart you, God, will not despise\”. (Psalm 57:17).

Apostle Paul standing before the high priest Ananias and some elders to defend himself against a falsely accusations against him said \”Therefore I always exercise and discipline myself [mortifying my body, deadening my carnal affections, bodily appetites, and worldly desires, endeavoring in all respects] to have a clear (unshaken, blameless) conscience, void of offense toward God and toward men\”.  (Acts 24:16) AMP.

There is an African proverbs \”A Clear Conscience Fears No Accusations\”

Conscience they say is like a police officer who guides and Maintains Order. It is like a judge that adjudicates on an action or inaction of a crime committed to pronounce guilty or not guilty.  Sleeping with a heavy  heart borne out of nagging  Conscience is as uncomfortable as  sleeping in a bedbugs infested bed.   When your conscience is dirty you only see a reflection of your mind in other people.

Have a clear conscience at all times, feel free of guilt or responsibility be conscious to declare I have a clear Conscience I did what I Could to Help whenever you have done the right thing and you find yourself under falsely accusations let it not cause you to fret or fear for your vindication will surely come.

\”Fret not thyself because of evildoers, neither be thou envious against the workers of iniquity.

For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb.

Trust in the LORD, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed.

Delight thyself also in the LORD: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.

Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.

And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light, and thy judgment as the noonday\” .
(Psalm 37:1-6).

\”Through the hypocrisy and pretensions of liars whose consciences are seared\”. (1 Timothy 4:2). AMP.   Yes! your good intentions and righteousness may be queried when you fall in the hands of envious and haters of good deeds do not compromise your faith and your stakes for hypocrites and pretenders will always  refuse to see your good values and will always be on the lookout to tarnish your image and personalities AVOID THEM !!!.
