SEEK GOD FIRST.

Matthew 6:33. AMP

But first and most importantly seek (aim at, strive after) His kingdom and His righteousness [His way of doing and being right—the attitude and character of God], and all these things will be given to you also.

A Pastor was at home getting ready to go to church. Suddenly his wife went outside to cry

The Pastor asks his wife.. What happened?
The sad, crying wife said:
Our son just passed away. The two walked in and saw the dead boy lying in bed

🛏 the wife grabbed him crying that they should not go to church first because their child in the room was dead. But the Pastor said \”We will leave the corpse and we will go to church we have to put God first!
Let\’s go to church!
The wife was outraged 🤨 and said:
Our son died and we\’re going to church!!?
The Pastor said yes! And they left the boy
In bed already dead.

In the Church the pastor start to preach, the church was well filled that day.
At the end of the sermon, the Pastor said:
Brethren my son is dead and start to cry😢

Everyone was sad by what the pastor said. When the pastor went home with the members, they were shocked to see that the child was alive and playing! So they all wept for joy and praised the Lord!

My Message for Today
⇨ Seek first the Kingdom of heaven and its righteousness and all things shall be added to you 🙏🏻

God put us to test sometimes to try us and no matter the situation we must always put him first
At times in our life some important situations looks died and hopeless to shake our very foundation. What we do
at that critical time first matters on how we can handle our died situation.

When you have developed your spiritual life in Christ Jesus deep rooted it reflects in your response to life\’s situations in an impulse unknowingly. I took time to read the account of Job in the book of Job 1:1-20. I deduced from that chapter that already Job had developed his confidence and trust in the Lord, he was blameless, he lived an upright life, he feared God and above all he shuns evil. That had been his life style so to focus in God and revered Him at all times no matter the condition does not take his time of pondering over it first.

It becomes spontaneous without delays. The pastor in our story knows his source. He has been tapping from that River that can never dry for sustainability, he had always encouraged his members on how to come to God first in time of trouble and never look at the troubles to distract their attention from their main sources so he did not allowed his wife\’s tears or the fact that his child was dead to dissuade him from going to the solution first because that\’s whom he had related with at all times and whom he had always seek on time to find.

\”Seek ye the Lord, while he may be found: call upon him, while he is near\”. (Isaiah 55:6)

Build yourself up with the word of God so that it will become the stabilizer of your live incase of bad news. Everyday we hear news, The Good, The Bad And The Ugly. Some dropped dead after hearing a bad news, some are in shock due to what they hear others may wished they never heard such news while some may Rejoice and worship God as Job did.

13 \”One day Job’s sons and daughters were eating and drinking wine together at the oldest brother’s house. 14 A messenger came to Job and said, “The oxen were plowing and the donkeys were eating grass nearby, 15 when the Sabeans attacked and carried them away. They killed the servants with swords, and I am the only one who escaped to tell you!”

16 The messenger was still speaking when another messenger arrived and said, “Lightning from God fell from the sky. It burned up the sheep and the servants, and I am the only one who escaped to tell you!”

17 The second messenger was still speaking when another messenger arrived and said, “The Babylonians sent three groups of attackers that swept down and stole your camels and killed the servants. I am the only one who escaped to tell you!”

18 The third messenger was still speaking when another messenger arrived and said, “Your sons and daughters were eating and drinking wine together at the oldest brother’s house. 19 Suddenly a great wind came from the desert, hitting all four corners of the house at once. The house fell in on the young people, and they are all dead. I am the only one who escaped to tell you!”

20 When Job heard this, he got up and tore his robe and shaved his head to show how sad he was. Then he bowed down to the ground to worship God\”. (Job 1:13-20).

May God Almighty intervened in our time of troubles in Jesus name amen. Remain Blessed, Shalom!
