MERCIES OF GOD.

Psalm 103:8-13. NCBV.

8 The Lord shows mercy and is kind.
He does not become angry quickly, and he has great love.
9 He will not always accuse us,
and he will not be angry forever.
10 He has not punished us as our sins should be punished;
he has not repaid us for the evil we have done.
11 As high as the sky is above the earth,
so great is his love for those who respect him.
12 He has taken our sins away from us
as far as the east is from west.
13 The Lord has mercy on those who respect him,
as a father has mercy on his children.

Dictionary definition from oxford languages defined Mercy as compassion or forgiveness shown towards someone whom it is within one\’s power to punish or harm.\”the boy was screaming and begging for mercy\”.

God\’s own kind of mercies cut across all barrier not limited. God shows his mercy for those who are suffering through healing, He comforts them alleviate their sufferings and cares about those in distress. He acts from compassion and acts with mercy. In Matthew 17:15, a man approaches Jesus and kneels before Him saying “Lord, have mercy on my son,” he said. “He has seizures and is suffering greatly. He often falls into the fire or into the water.

Jesus as we all know is the face of mercy and He said
“I desire mercy, not sacrifice. For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.” Perhaps most significantly for Christians, Jesus shows us what it means to be merciful: He healed the sick, welcomed the stranger and pardoned those who persecuted and killed him and prayed for their sins to be forgiven.

The Lord God has in divers ways shown mercies to me these past months and I\’m highly grateful to Him. He healed my mom from stroke attacks and it\’s attendant body defects and raised my mom up from the wheelchair to walking with a walking stick strong and unaided Praised God Almighty. At 89 years my mom is doing certain minor things on her own. My Dad was delivered of eye surgery and he can not only see clearly with both eyes but can also read without the use of eye glasses. My immediate family is cruising in the atmosphere of good health and miracles all over us; to the glory of God.

Today 31st ends the month of October. I thank God for all His mercies to all my contacts here, I pray for you that God will give His angels charge concerning you all to protect, preserve and continuously provide you all that makes lives more enjoyable for your good Amen.

Yeah, I decided to choose the topic MERCIES OF GOD because I have been able to remenience and reflect on all my life trajectory since the beginning of the year till this last date of October, the 10th month of the year 2022 I can see the wonders, miracles and mercies of God all over me and I SEE MERCIES ABOUND. I exclaimed it can only be God!!!.

God\’s mercy is an unmerited favours granted to us by His qualifying us to be a pertaker of His grace of which in literal meaning we do not deserve on our own merits. Lamentations 3:22 says that His mercy is “new every morning.” God\’s mercy is so great that you may sooner drain the sea of its water, or deprive the sun of its light, or make space too narrow, than diminish the great mercy of God.” There is no end to God\’s mercy.

When you see a man that enjoys God\’s Mercies, you see a man in king David though the enemies encompasses around him yet he is confident that they will not harm him instead he is bold not afraid. \”Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident\” (Psalm 27:3)

I pray you enjoy God\’s own mercies as He ursher us to another new month of POSSIBILITY. With God all things are Possible. May He show you mercies all around the month of November and beyond Amen.
