Luke 11:10 AMP.

For everyone who asks and keeps on asking receives; and he who seeks and keeps on seeking finds; and to him who knocks and keeps on knocking, the door shall be opened.
What is your prayer life like? Has it grown stagnant? When we read this verse, we are reminded that how we pray matters. We should pray diligently constantly making our hearts and requests known to God. When we ask, we shall receive. We should not just say the prayer and feels that is all , we should do more than that by looking forward for what God may be using to answer our prayers. When we seek, we shall find. Finally, after praying and seeking, we must continue seeking God without giving up. God will open the doors if we relent not.
Jesus was trying to teach His disciples the importance of persistence in prayers Then Jesus used this story to teach his followers that they should always pray and never lose hope. 2 “In a certain town there was a judge who did not respect God or care about people. 3 In that same town there was a widow who kept coming to this judge, saying, ‘Give me my rights against my enemy.’ 4 For a while the judge refused to help her. But afterwards, he thought to himself, ‘Even though I don’t respect God or care about people, 5 I will see that she gets her rights. Otherwise she will continue to bother me until I am worn out.’” Luke18 :1-5.
It is important we learn the act of perseverance whenever we come to God we build our confidence and be ready to continue in faith pushing until the door gives way without giving up.
\”Therefore, since we do hold and engage in this ministry by the mercy of God [granting us favor, benefits, opportunities, and especially salvation], we do not get discouraged (spiritless and despondent with fear) or become faint with weariness and exhaustion\”. (2Corinthians 4:1) AMP.
The passage in question for today suggests that God will give whatever is needed to those who have the faith to ask for it. It means when we delight ourselves in God, then we will find everything we want and need in Him. The key here is that our heart must be of gratitude to God and with the full assurance in our heart that when we ask, he is faithful to keep His words. It is really the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. So keep Asking.
You owe yourself that duty to make the first move of asking. My husband will always say to our Children that \”A close mouth is a close Destiny\” we must open our mouth at all times to express our desires.
\”17 Elijah was a human being just like us. He prayed that it would not rain, and it did not rain on the land for three and a half years! 18 Then Elijah prayed again, and the rain came down from the sky, and the land produced crops again\”. (James 5:17-18)
The importance of persistence in getting at what you desire through prayers can not be over emphasis here because that\’s the way to your breakthroughs. Check your praying life, if it has slowed down or you\’re no more enthusiastic in coming before him in prayers reconsider your ways and go back to Him. What a friend we have in Jesus !!
He bears all our sins and sorrows, it\’s a privilege when we carry all our concerns to Him for He cares so much without counting on your errors. Keep On Asking For You Will Receive in Jesus name Àmen. Remain Blessed.
