Psalm 31:19 ESV.
19 Oh, how abundant is your goodness, which you have stored up for those who fear you and worked for those who take refuge in you, in the sight of the children of mankind!
The goodness that God pours out on His children is endless. God delights in showing mercy, giving love, and expressing His goodness. For as long as we are part of God’s children, we will always experience the goodness of God in our lives. He does not retain His anger forever, Because He delights in mercy. He will again have compassion on us, And will subdue our iniquities.
David said for he is like a green olive tree in the house of God therefore he trust in the mercy of God for ever and ever. Psalm 52:8. . Yes! We must have to trust in God at all times, it does not matter how low you feel of your self due to your numerous mistakes for God does not remain angry for what we have done forever For the LORD God is a sun and shield unto us; He will give grace and glory; He will not withhold good things from those that walk uprightly.
The Bible teaches us that trusting God involves holding very lightly to the worldly things. If we gather material things to ourselves at the expense of building better relationship with God, naturally one is tempted to have vested so much interest in maintaining them. This in a way is building castle where moths will destroy thereby focusing all your mind in munden things that profits little. So Jesus commanded us not to focus our lives on gaining wealth and possessions and lose our souls but put your trust in serving him.
PRAYER
Dear God, I am grateful for your goodness that is always evident in my life. I can never doubt that you are a good God and a loving Father, for You show me mercies every moment even when I scarcely do not deserve it for you delight in mercy. I love you for loving me and thank you Lord for showing me so much Mercies In Jesus name, Amen.
