24 You know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize. So run to win! 25 All those who compete in the games use self-control so they can win a crown. That crown is an earthly thing that lasts only a short time, but our crown will never be destroyed. 26 So I do not run without a goal. I fight like a boxer who is hitting something—not just the air
The greatest experience and one of the very best achievement in life is to genuinely repent and live a righteous life with conscious willingness to abstain from every resemblance of wayworthiness.
According to the book of Acts 17 :30-31. It says in the past God over looked such ignorance but now He commands all people everywhere to repent, for He has set a day when He will judge the world with justice by the man He has appointed.
He has given proof of this to all men by raising him from the death.
If you pause and reflect you would realise that this is the true purpose and essence of life. As Jesus warned in matthew 24:4, that we should watch out that we are not deceived. We should faithfully and aggressively guard ourselevs from all forms of deceit.
False prophets are prowling everywhere with wrong messages, perfoming false miracles in order to derail people from the faith they once professed. Beware least you fall into the temptation, test every spirit and know which spirit is God’s because is not every one that calls my Father my Father is son of God .
Don’t get deceived cross check every preaching and know if it’s of the Lord The Bible tells us of a remarkable group of people famously known today as the Berean Christians. These believers lived in a place called Berea and they possessed a remarkable character that each and every Christian today must have.
The Bible proclaimed that the Bereans in Acts 17:10-15. At this time, Paul and Silas were making their way along different territories preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ to all men. Upon arrival in their Synagogue, they began to cross check every word declared by Paul and His men.
“Then the brethren immediately sent Paul and Silas away by night to Berea. When they arrived, they went into the synagogue of the Jews.” (Acts 17:10). When you allow the word of God to dwell richly in you, hardly will you be tossed about by all kinds of doctrine. Build yourself in the Lord and rest on His promises.
In life we are racing towards the mark and need to finish well as to win prize befitting for all our enduring race. Get committed and intentional for a live of fellowship to God which is a good cause in our lives race.
