FRET NOT THYSELF.

Psalms 37:1-4. NKJV.

\"\"

37 Do not fret because of evildoers,
Nor be envious of the workers of iniquity.
For they shall soon be cut down like the grass,
And wither as the green herb.Trust in the Lord, and do good;
Dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness.
Delight yourself also in the Lord,
And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Fret means a state of anxiety.
Why would anyone get themselves in a state of constant fret over something ? The scripture is advising us to desist from such attitude incase you see the work of the evil doers in progress.Do not fret ,it only causes harm to you. If you\’re worried or troubled today by someone\’s vengeful actions, that you can\’t fix the outcome or control it\’s effects of what use is it to you. Only Trust God to move in, on your behalf and then you can give yourself a little pep up talk FRET NOT THY SELF.

No matter how hard things may seem on this earth, know of truth that we have a reason to rejoice because we know that we have a Heavenly Father who calls us righteous and watches over us every day. Our future is certain because we are in Christ, the one who saved us and made us righteous. It is in Him, we can have the confidence in knowing that we will never suffer a painful and perilous fate

The psalmist is assuring us to Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for him. FRET not thyself because of him who prospers in his own dubious way or because of the man who brings wicked devices to manipulate or subdue others for his end is at hand.

It\’s always about tomorrow that we are tempted to worry about. But God\’s Word forbids fear over the future. Jesus Warned us \”Take no thought for the morrow, \”So don’t worry about tomorrow, because tomorrow will have its own worries. Each day has enough trouble of its own thereof.\” (Matthew 6:34).

Are you Anxious, Afraid or Perturbed about anything happening around you or about Rumors of frightful occurrences. You are to enjoy today and take things as they come and let tomorrow take care of itself! \”For as thy days, so shall thy strength be\”. (Deuthronomy 33:25)

Are you despised , looked down upon or called names ? Cheer up!! \”looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. (Hebrew 12:3

When things seems difficult despite all your prayers, fasting and good deeds yet you look around you the wicked seems to be prospering Do not fret For we are \”Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ\” (Philippines 1:6).

God will give you power for the hour, grace for the trial, AT the very hour and when it comes. For He loves you and cares for you and is going to take care of you no matter what the the times are that\’s why He is telling you FRET NOT THYSELF.

PRAYER

Almighty Redeemer, we are in the world of uncertainty, strange happenings enough to cause the love of many to wax cold and make the heart to fret But We Delight ourselves also in you O Lord And pray that You grant unto us the desires of our hearts in Jesus Christ name amen.

REFLECTION

Do not fret because of those who are evil or be envious of those who do wrong; for like the grass they will soon wither, like green plants they will soon die away. Trust in the LORD and do good; dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture.
