SHOW NO PARTIALITY

\"\"
For God shows no partiality [undue favor or unfairness; with Him one man is not different from another.

Acts 10:34-40 NKJV.

34 Then Peter opened his mouth and said: “In truth I perceive that God shows no partiality. 35 But in every nation whoever fears Him and works righteousness is accepted by Him. 36 The word which God sent to the children of Israel, preaching peace through Jesus Christ—He is Lord of all— 37 that word you know, which was proclaimed throughout all Judea, and began from Galilee after the baptism which John preached: 38 how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him. 39 And we are witnesses of all things which He did both in the land of the Jews and in Jerusalem, whom they killed by hanging on a tree. 40 Him God raised up on the third day, and showed Him openly,

Change they said is constant, Consider Peter. Following traditions, he had assumptions about the Gospel. Then, in a moment, his perspective changed as God gave him a dramatic vision.

Although “greatly perplexed” about the meaning of the vision, he was open when the Spirit spoke to him in verse 17 \”Now while Peter wondered within himself what this vision which he had seen meant, behold, the men who had been sent from Cornelius had made inquiry for Simon’s house, and stood before the gate\”. He was willing to go with the Gentiles who arrived at his gate He watched as the Spirit sovereignly fell on these men after Peter had shared the Gospel. Observing these events with amazement,

Peter realized that the Gospel was for everyone and ordered that these men be baptized. Because he listened and was available, Peter received an unexpected revelation that changed his life and the world. He then declared that \”GOD SHOWS NO PARTIALITY\”. James one of the disciples of Jesus Christ, in his book warned the brethren to desist from the sin of PARTIALITY .

\”My brothers and sisters, believers in our glorious Lord Jesus Christ must not show favoritism. Suppose a man comes into your meeting wearing a gold ring and fine clothes, and a poor man in filthy old clothes also comes in. If you show special attention to the man wearing fine clothes and say, “Here’s a good seat for you,” but say to the poor man, “You stand there” or “Sit on the floor by my feet,” have you not discriminated among yourselves and become judges with evil thoughts?\”. (James 2:1-4) NIV.

For God shows no partiality, No arbitrary Favouritism with Him one person is not more important than the other. He treats everyone with same love and care. You too can do the same, Do not show partiality treat people with respect no matter who and irrespective of what you are. Like Peter, develop a vital relationship with God. Stay available for His leading, ready to respond as He leads. Ask God to open your eyes to help you see in a new dimension.

PRAYERS
Father Lord, speak to me and help me to be ready to hear from You. Open my mind and heart to receive fresh revelations from You and Obey as you lead . In Jesus name amen.

REFLECTION

God shows no partiality to princes
Nor regards to the rich above the poor,
For they all are the work of His hands.
