Romans 8:31-33. NKJV.
31 What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? 32 He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? 33 Who shall bring a charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies.
We face many kinds of adversaries, rivals, and oppositions. We also face emotional and physical confrontations, stress and pressure at all times. There are competitions every where you turned to in your work place, your family, even churches are not left out. The political world is full of rivalries battling through elections and campaigns, Communities and nations often find themselves in adversarial relationships.
But the most important opposition we have is spiritual. As the Bible confirms, Satan and his demonic forces oppose us in any way they can. They spread lies and seek to stir up anger and fear and fill us with doubt and anxiety. They encourage divisions and conflict. They can tempt us with thoughts and ideas and then provoke us to surrender to these temptations.
Even within us the scripture is clear there, how our spirit is in conflict with our flesh, always being adversary to each making us fall prey to the one that overcomes the other.
The sinful nature wants to do evil, which is just the opposite of what the Spirit wants. And the Spirit gives us desires that are the opposite of what the sinful nature desires. These two forces are constantly fighting each other, so you are not free to carry out your good intentions.
Facing life’s challenges, we can think about all the people, influences, and forces that might oppose us or be against us. We can feel overwhelmed and defeated if we focus on these forces. But our attitude changes when we focus on God and realize that He is greater than any adversary we face. If we trust Him, we should realize that He is for us and He is on our side. Allow Him to dominate any challenges you may face.
“No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon\”. (Matthew 6:24)
Remember that God is for you. You can trust Him and be confident in Him. Stand on His Word. Let Him take away your fears and worries and give you His peace.
PRAYER
MY Father, MY God. You are on my side. Thank You for being there for me always. You are greater than any opposition I may face in life and I trust You for delivering me from them all In Jesus Mighty name I pray Amen.
REFLECTION
So what should we say about this? If God is for us, no one can defeat us, Don\’t lose your focus on God . When He says Yes No one can say No, Do not get carried away by the presence of your adversaries . The bible says \”Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me\”.

“The greatest adversary is our flesh.” So true. That is why the devil’s first temptation against Jesus was with flesh. Powerful word. Thanks.
