Psalms 100:1-4 KJV.
1 Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands. 2 Serve the Lord with gladness: come before his presence with singing. 3 Know ye that the Lord he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. 4 Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.
It is important to have attitude of gratitude and an eagerness to praise God because times without number He has always shown and proven his faithfulness to us. God is the God above all, He created the heavens, the earth, the universe and everything in it. And He still knows you by name. Isn\’t that amazing? \”Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name..\”. Psalms 91:14.
The psalmist wants us to show gratitude to God whenever we are in His presence. On your feet now—applaud God! Bring a gift of laughter,sing yourselves into joy and a loud noise of praises before Him.
Do you know that ordinarily you can beat boredom by making a joyful noise when alone. Yes! instead of feeling lonely and allowing certain unguarded thought to mare your moment why not burst into a joyful laughter and begin to sing praise or any spirit lifting songs which is the medicine of the soul.
Rob Evans in his SONG OF PRAISE Lyrics Sang , A song of praise
Sing a song of happiness
Sing a song of thanks to God
Sing a song of joy… .
These are the things that will rejuvenate your spirit when you\’re dawn cast not by brooding over mathers that you don\’t have the capacity to deal with. \”Know ye that the Lord he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture\”. Therefore, take it back to God for He knows better than you know.
PRAYER
Our father, our God. We are the sheep and you are our Shepherd, please make us to lie down in green pastures;
lead us beside the still waters. And restore our souls; and lead us in the paths of righteousness for Your name’s sake in Jesus name Amen.
REFLECTION
I will extol the Lord at all times; his praise will always be on my lips. I will glory in the Lord; let the afflicted hear and rejoice. Glorify the Lord with me; let us exalt his name together. I sought the Lord, and he answered me; he delivered me from all my fears. Psalms 34:1-4. KJV.
It\’s good to reflect on the word of God when you hear it, it will help in building your confidence in Him. while it is said:
“Today, if you will hear His voice,
Do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion.”. Hebrews 3:15.
