BE PATIENCE.

Proverbs 14:29-30 NCBV.

29 Patient people have great understanding,
but people with quick tempers show their foolishness.

30 Peace of mind means a healthy body,
but jealousy will rot your bones.

Patience is an expression of wisdom. It is never wise to follow whims and emotions because this will lead to even greater problems. When we choose to be patient, it allows us to put all emotional influences at bay, and clearly pay attention to a situation. When we choose to be quick to anger, we will end up hurting people and it will be hard to reverse the damage our actions caused.

Better is the end of a thing than the beginning of it, and the patient in spirit is better than the proud in spirit. If you stop and think about pride, it might not seem to line up well with patience, for all too often it leads a person to impatience, as a proud person seeks to have their way over someone else, while the patient person must deal with others in ways that respect their opinions, their views and personality.

BENEFITS OF PATIENCE.
When you\’re patient you can focus on your long-term goals and dreams better.
You can make more rational, realistic decisions.
You will develop persistency and resilience in carrying out a set goal
You have a better time learning ability and in acquiring new skills
It allows you to be a better listener.
You make others feel comfortable around you.

A patient dog eats the fattest bone; So it is said. Life often comes with challenges. As hard as it could be, sometimes the only thing that works is patiently fellow the rythem strategically so that You don\’t run out of tune.

Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise. Therefore, as God\’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.

Jesus said, “In your patience possess ye your souls” (Luke 21:19). He also emphasized, “He who endures to the end shall be saved” (Matt. 24:13 NKJV). Some things don\’t happen overnight, and it takes patience to get there. Be Patient at all times.

PRAYER

Dear Lord And Father, thank you for who you are. Please grant us grace in time of challenges to hold on still irrespective of what the situation is suggesting to us for we are hoping for something we do not have yet, and we are waiting for it patiently in Jesus name Amen.

REFLECTION

Patience helps us to receive the promotion that God gives us. When we are submitted in the mighty hand of God for is Him that will lift us up in due time.
